So I hooked up a couple of Solar panels to my Anker and the DC input shows nothing unless the AC is unplugged. My intention was to have the solar lower some of my electricity usage for one particular room that uses about 400 watts continuously. Is there a reason the unit doesn't take advantage of the solar unless the AC is unplugged? Thank you.
Hello, I have sent about 4 requests to Westinghouse asking for the instructions for unbonding the IGEN12000TFC. They keep sending me instructions for other models that are not correct. It looks like on the IGEN12000 TFC they just put the neutral right on the ground lug. I am just making sure this is the only place it needs to be removed.
Here is what the panel looks like. Unfortunately you cant see the Neutral on the ground lug in this screenshot, but it is there. I posted this so people thinking it was the same as the 11000 could see that they have changed it.

After over analyzing the softstart manufactures, and reading a ton of reviews, I chose to go with Airgo soft starts for my 3 and 2.5 ton AC units. The thing that lead be to write this and also a major decision point in choose Airgo was the raving reviews on installation assistance. I had heard many people on forums and youtube videos talk about calling "Bob" when they had a question during installation. Well yesterday around 6:30 PM EST I just had to install my unit right then. I ran into a question with my install and I called the number they put right on the instructions, guess who answered. You guessed it Bob himself. Not an AI, Not a guy in a different country that I could barely understand, Nope sure enough it was Bob himself. He asked me a couple of questions about my unit and it was like he was standing there with me looking at what I was looking at. He knew the wires that needed to be moved, removed, and connected. No pauses, no ummmm, let me check, he just knew his stuff. He even reminded me to re tighten the contactor. Then he was like ok check the line, make sure it's cold, and said, glad I could help. Tell me one company today that has that kind of support. Thanks Bob! and thanks Airgo.
Background: About 25 feet from my RTK Antenna, pretty much within line of site, my mower randomly ventures into my neighbors yard, This is between two 2 story houses so it may be kind of losing it's location. The tech I spoke with suggested setting up a vision fence for the neighbors area. Does anyone know if the vision fence relies on location data? Has anyone else tackled this? I will report back if I had any success with trying the vision fence. What is surprising is it doesn't experience this anywhere else in the yard. I LOVE this mower!!! I have even offered to cut this area for the neighbor.
