This is my first generator purchase I’m on a hourly pricing plan with my electric utility I’m not sure if this can make any meaningful difference that I can use daily.

My main concern i guess was keeping the sump pump running if there was an outrage and then prolly moving it to the fridge once the rain is clear.

I figure I’ll still need a gas generator at some point to recharge this in worst case scenarios.

But was this a good system to start on?
