Considering a 2026 plug I. Hybrid Prius
So currently in the market for a vehicle to save on fuel costs. I have a new contracted job that will be a 110 mile commute one way. Currently drive a ram 1500 which I get 22mpg on the highway and 16 city.
Ive been looking into leasing an EV however never had experience with EV vehicles and haven’t heard too many great things about owning an EV. I have also been looking into hybrid vehicles. From what I’ve seen it seems like the 2026 plug in hybrid Prius gets the best mpg out of all hybrids currently in the market.
Commute would be 110 miles one way and wouldn’t need to commute back home for another 3 days. I also will have a second job where commute is about 140 miles round trip.
What do y’all think is the best route? EV or hybrid for this type of commute.
