Mureka AI sub is controlled, so I hope I can post here.
I recently tried an AI music service of Mureka AI that advertised a $1 trial. At first glance, it looked like a cheap way to test the product.
But here’s the catch: if you don’t cancel within a very short window, it automatically turns into an annual subscription. Not monthly. Annual.
I missed the cancellation window on the same day, and suddenly I was charged for a full year.
What makes this even worse is that I contacted support asking for help/refund, explained the situation clearly, and then… nothing. No proper reply. No resolution. Just silence for weeks.
This kind of design feels intentionally misleading. A $1 trial should not quietly become a full annual charge, especially when the cancellation window is so easy to miss. If a company is confident in its product, it shouldn’t need to rely on confusing trial terms and unresponsive support.
I’m honestly very angry about this. It feels less like a fair subscription model and more like a trap designed to catch people who simply forget or misunderstand the timing.
