Hi, first time mom here. First I want to say we are incredibly grateful and lucky to have people who love our little one and give us items for her. However we have a small home. With no storage space. I hate to be wasteful and for baby items to end up in landfills. For my little ones first birthday what are the thoughts on this. On the Facebook invite, something like. Please do not feel obligated to bring a gift. We have a small home and are trying to focus on multifunctional open ended toys. If you would feel comfortable we are hoping to collectively buy a few big items. And have a list or link for the few things we would like. A nugget chunk, a balance bike, and maybe a few open ended Montessori type toys. ?
