I keep seeing tiny blogs and random Reddit threads get surfaced in AI answers while massive DR80+ sites get ignored completely for certain queries.

Makes me think LLMs care less about domain authority and more about clarity, specificity, and quotable phrasing.

Anyone running experiments on this?

Especially in niches where smaller sites are consistently getting cited over huge brands.
