I was recently laid off and was given a really good package so am taking the time to get my CPA license. I have my masters in accounting and started my career in audit and never was able to make the move to accounting.

I’ve been in the internal SOX space and was overseeing a large public company’s SOX program, starting out as a senior and working my way up to manger so I’ve tested/reperformed controls, reviewed controls, managed a team, etc.. Will I be able to get interviews for senior accounting roles? Thx for the help!
