ADHD gamers: do u take meds when playing ranked?

I have ADHD but I've never taken meds for gaming, only for studying (at home or in college). Recently I decided to try it while playing and noticed a massive improvement in my reaction time and aim.

A lot of the times I'd get caught off guard and die, especially when I was unconsciously distracted or just not fully locked in. The difference was kinda crazy.

The downside is that I'm on immediate-release Ritalin, so after about 3–4 matches I can already feel my focus dropping off hard as the medication wears off, and the rebound makes it even worse.

What's your experience with ADHD and gaming? Do you take meds when playing ranked? Have you noticed any changes in reaction time, focus, awareness, etc.?

FYI: I'm D3 (Diamond 3). Never really tried pushing higher, but I feel like that's about where I belong skill-wise.
