Shotgun for neon/raze

Hypothetically, riot added shotgun that can shoot on run and mid jump, accurately. BUT this shotgun is FULLBUY, smt like 2600+ credits, do you think it would be a good addition to weapon roster, so neon and raze players will be able to play they old characters (even tho neon movement is nerfed), just at higher cost? Will it be nice for some players and healthy for the game?

Any chance Summit doors get disabled in Deathmatch?

I get it’s part of the maps mechanics and I’m not complaining about that. Having the doors active in deathmatch is a huge drawback and permanently closes off angles for the entirety of the game which means you don’t even get to practice using those angles.

Dying by headshots

Hi, i’m pretty new to valorant so i have this question, i know i’m surely bad, i probably crouch too much etc etc, peaked at bronze 1 so iykyk. I played other fps a lot of time, like insanely a lot of time, and never in my life i got headshoted this much. On the last 3 games ( all ranked on iron or bronze ) i died a total of 48 times, of those 48 i got headshoted 39, of those 39 33 were directly headshots without even body shots. Everytime i die i tell myself its unluck but honestly this is becoming a pattern, and its not fun, even if i had a 50ms reaction time ( which for sure i have not ) i couldnt do anything cause i literally just recognize the opp and then i just die. So my question is, what is my problem? Cause i can understand a 81% headshot accuracy on idk plat? immo? not on iron or bronze, am i just unlucky?
Thank you for responding

Should I change my user becuase it could be the reason why I’m getting picked on?

My valorant user makes it kind of obvious that I am a girl let’s put it at that. It’s not my intention for anyone to know that I am one, as I make all my game users similar. I went into this game without knowing how toxic players can be.

I’ve played mostly unrated and death match (I know it’s lame) so it was all fine until I started playing swift play and comp.

I’m not trying to shame anyone 😭 please don’t get me wrong but I’ve noticed that mostly females have been picking on me for no reason (especially when I’m top fragging for some reason) which makes me think it’s ridiculous 😭 I’m kind of soft hearted so it does affect me. The guys do like pick on me too sometimes but when we are comparing, the ratio for girls go way higher. I hate that most of the time especially when I’m deliberately more nicer to them bc I think girls should support girls, 😭 they just be mean for no reason. And as a girl, it lowkey hurts more comming from another girl cuz I’d care way less if a guy started insulting me for no reason

And for context it’s the girls that are in same team, not enemy team.

I’ve been told to get off rank and that I play bad in swift play (which I use to warm up) and told that I don’t have a job when I said “oh that’s super cool :0” when one of them said they are going into biochem I think in uni (I do have a job btw 😭😭😭🙏) and I’ve been told that I’m probably really fat cuz I don’t use my mic or that I’m hogging all the kills cuz I don’t give coms (I do but it’s not always 100% right, and I get it’s on me if I ping the wrong spots) I’ve also been told that I shouldn’t have skins and don’t deserve them 😭😭😭 or that I stole their kills when I’ve done like 64/146 damage on someone and then makes a big deal out of it 😭😭😭 so like I’m so confused

And when I’m being picked on it lasts the whole match usually which makes it rlly annoying for me, or they usually do it with a group of girls or with a duo

Since I don’t inherently play that bad im starting to think it’d my user? For your knowlege, ive had super bad days but in this discussion im not accounting for the days I’ve played really bad in comp because i get when someone needs to rank up and takes it competitively. I usually play support only (sage, smokes or tejo) and play more for the team. Ive played this game for two years so i think i know how to be more thoughtful when playing so i dont think its that in most cases.

I’m just sulking a little bc it’s been getting more consistent and I wanna discuss this with someone 😭 sadly I love the game a lot and cannot quit.

Also im not trying to be a pick me but if this is giving just tell me I’ll delete or change up my words 🙏 honesty is welcomed

EDIT: Okay I feel like this post is slightly comming off as some type of gender discrimination. Please feel free to voice this opinion if so! However im just pointing out an observation I have personally experienced and posted it to see if I’m not the only one or I might think I’m crazy!! I’m in denial it’s true! However it’s def not most females and ofc there’s more positive than toxic ones out here! I’ve just been too unlucky

Someone please tell me it’s not just me, and should I change my user?

If I do please let me know which one u like😂

How often do you run into cheaters in Valorant right now?

I’m curious how Valorant players feel about cheaters in ranked right now.

Some people say they almost never see cheaters, while others feel like there are more suspicious games lately. I wanted to ask this in a simple way:

- What rank are you currently playing in?

- How often do you run into suspicious players or obvious cheaters?

- Has it gotten better or worse recently?

I mean do they ever actually make the changes they said they would?

https://imgur.com/a/9xVxo0J

solo queue. never not seeing gigantic rank differences every single game. It's insane.

if im gold. then just give me gold.

if im bronze. let me just play bronze.

its so wild, this genuinely kills any drive i have. it gets so boring watching the same 25 bomb carry 3-4 underperforming players across the finish line.

i cant imagine a whole lot of people being on board with this. god only knows how much the player count has actually taken a nose dive.

(also the 555 rules they have for posts is wild. like its ok bro. take a day off. were on reddit.)

Studying aspas economy

Would the diamond+ here think this is a good idea for me to steal? (I'm gold-plat) and this is assuming worst case scenario

playing jett

first round he buys ghost + smoke

second round loss he buys stinger + smoke (I assume this is to catch sniper players off guard and to get on site quickly)

third round loss he buys sheriff (no abilities) (I guess trying to get a vandal off someone)

I dont usually force on a second round loss but If this is objectively better I'd try it, agent definitely matters here because I usually never buy updraft unless I'm going for an updraft+dash entry OR I have ult, and I usually only buy one smoke, two if I have 4800+ creds since I would either misclick or just never use the second one

Is it bad to only go for headshots?

My weapon stats

My unrated overview

I just recently picked up the game (Bronze 2) and in every match I only go for headshots with the vandal and Chamber's headhunter. Of course there are exceptions such as if I know that the enemy is low enough to die from a body shot. I just want to know if I'm over committing to headshotting that it would end up being a detriment in the long run.

I posted my unrated stats because I have more games there since I'm helping a friend get to Level 20. But here's my tracker in case you need more information: https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/KuriGohan%231992

Should I learn to crouch spray?

I play for fun and I’m currently gold 1 (peaked plat 2) but I never learned to crouch spray. I used to play vandal/guardian only and hated the phantom. After taking a break from playing I’ve started using the phantom more for defense/closer fights and I see people crouch spraying constantly which is pretty annoying but I’m wondering if that’s something I should try? What’s the stance on crouch spraying?

Valorant achievement ideas

Me and some friends are currently thinking of some challenges/achievement that we can try to complete in our games. Do you some suggestions on what challenges would be fun to add to our list?

Do I stop here?

I’ve played for some years now, started when I first got a pc. Ended up ranking up but would always stop at p1 as to not be out of range for my friends playing who wouldn’t be high enough. A couple of acts ago I figured I’d finally see how far I could ACTUALLY climb and try. Peaked D1 so far but I can’t help but feel extremely washed. Idk if it’s me getting older finally ig or the player base getting better overall, but I don’t feel as I once did. Do I give Val up and switch to something less rage inducing? Or is there something I’ve missed during one of my breaks and that’s why I’m terrible now?

Duelist nerfs?

Will raze and phoenix be nerfed in next big patch in your opinion? Especially phoenix being dominating at vct, do you think they will nerf some duelist?

hard stuck diamond

i started the game around 9 months ago. started bronze 1 and climbed to diamond 3 last act slowly. got placed plat 3 this act.

i feel like my aim is so so inconsistent and mechanically i dont seem to be getting better. game sense improving but still lots to learn. i spent ~500hrs on this game but i want a good focused way to improve feel like im very inconsistent and am not making the best use of my time to improve mechanically and actively improve game sense

also i’ve experimented with sensitivities btw 0.2-0.4 (800 dpi) and i stuck with .2 for a while now. i feel like i have the best aim/preciseness w low sens but i struggle with ex:180s to clear site, tracking, and dodging flashes, things that i could easily do in higher sens. Any tips for that? either how to get better w low sens and using ur arm or if i should increase it.

my iso buff idea

came up with this in like five minutes because i main iso (crazy i know) and i really do wanna see him actually be a competitive agent in the higher ranks/pro scene. would like to hear some feedback

buff one:
this would be a semi-rework of contigency. he would gain the ability to stop the wall by pressing c again. the wall would then remain up for around 10 seconds. for balance, it would become breakable with a health pool of around 400-500 hp. this way he could actually live up to his name and the whole point of his character and be able to isolate fights and manipulate angles much more flexibly and creatively.

buff two:
this one's simple, just make double tap form-fitting to his hitbox instead of giant purple bubble that broadcasts his location to everyone you're trying to peek/swing.

anyways that's all i came up with, undercut is fine as it is imo, maybe there could be some buff to his ult, i don't know if he needs that, but yeah, i encourage you to share your opinions

Where should I smoke?

I typically play initiator (KAY/O, Tejo) and sometimes controller or sentinel. My typical smoke as controller is usually heaven or door if the site has one. Otherwise I smoke common paths like rope and drop on Lotus A site. Is this the correct way to smoke or am I doing it wrong? I'm in iron-bronze lobbies.

Is it just me or are iron 3 lobbies hell

I've been playing Valorant for about 2 years now and recently decided to try out ranked for the first time and got placed in iron 3, and half the games I end up in are terrible, there's either smurfs, trolls or in one case a game where my teams jett was afk during our attacking phase and not afk during our defending phase and the enemy teams sage did the same thing, which seemed very suspicious. Maybe part of my troubles is my aim, it's not the best and I am trying to improve it. Another problem could be that sometimes my match performance is bad if the rest of my team is doing bad, but it's just horrible. I ended up getting demoted to iron 2, and the game I played was amazing, and I got back into iron 3 to experience some more horrible games mixed in with some good ones. So is it just me, or are lobbies in iron 3 he'll?

What's you're go to gun? And also what's the gun you'll never touch?

My go to is simple, it's the vandal off course for the one tap headshots and for a gun I wouldn't touch with a 5 foot pole is the bucky but that should be self explanatory.

what is going on with ranked right now

i feel like eversince the new reset i've been getting so many more games with just worse quality. i'm currently asc 3, immo last act and i've been constantly getting mid plats in my games. i'm not even losing my other games either, some of the ones ive been winning are regular dia-asc games. so why the hell am i still getting plats when im high asc?
