Will VALORANT ever update their older facial models?

I feel like this is a bit too nitpicky and I really just want to ask out of curiosity, but I've noticed that Valorant's newer agents have more accurate and consistent looking in-game models when you compare them to their agent portraits/cinematic appearances. So far (in my opinion) every agent from Deadlock to Miks currently have the most accurate looking ones. Everyone else (excluding the ones without visible human features) either look really off or some parts of their face look too round-ish/don't look right at all.

Chamber's agent portrait vs Chamber's in-game model vs Chamber's look in his reveal trailer

I feel like the best example of who has the most off-ish face is Chamber. In the cinematics and agent portraits, he has visibly sharp facial features like a very prominent nose shape along with more angular eyes and a well-defined brow shape. In-game, his model looks more rounder and flat-ish as majority of the "sharp" facial features he possesses in his other arts are just absent. Why is his face so flat compared to the chiseled looking well-dressed gentleman we see in promotional material and cinematics?

Killjoy's agent portrait vs Killjoy's in-game model vs Killjoy's look in her cinematics (no glasses and with glasses)

The SECOND most off-ish face I can think of is Killjoy. Comparing her in-game model with her looks from the cinematics, nothing about her face is consistent with how she looks. I don't know how to describe it but in-game, Killjoy looks so puffy while her look in her portraits/cinematics make her look visually bubbly, cute and appealing.

"why are you so concerned about how they look?"

I'm just really really curious as to why this is the case. I get that they probably won't update the older models, but it feels so weird staring at them in cinematics and then looking at them in-game. I do find it pleasing that the newer models are more accurate to their cinematic counterparts, but how come the older ones can't get the same treatment? It won't do anything to improve gameplay as you probably won't even care about looking at their facial features when you're worrying about winning the match but it sure would be nice for some changes. Jett managed to get her facial model reworked, so why can't the others get theirs reworked as well?

AN HONEST REVIEW OF: Blue Lock Live Action

I just finished watching the Blue Lock Live Action a few hours ago and wanted to get my thoughts out as soon as possible because I have a LOT to say about this movie. I will try to keep it spoiler-free as much as possible, although if you've seen/read Blue Lock then plot wise, I have nothing to spoil for you. This is my first time writing a review so apologies in advance if it sucks!

Okay, spoiler warning out the way. To answer the question on everyone's mind: How faithful is the movie to the manga?

The simplest answer: VERY VERY faithful. (in my humble opinion.) It's as if the manga was directly translated into live-action format.

Now, the review:

>!It was excellent. Every single moment had my attention and there wasn't a single boring moment in it. It was super well done. The acting was amazing and the acting never felt forced or fake in any way. In terms of the actual football skills, they were super cool! Me and my friend (who play football as a hobby) took note that the football skills looked very realistic and were doable to a degree (maybe except for a few scenes from Nagi? But even then they still felt realistic.) It was super hard to believe that these guys were just actors and weren't full footballers. I want to give a big shoutout to Bachira's actor because his dribbling throughout the film was just CHEF'S KISS. Impeccable dribbling skills from the actor! Although despite the impeccable acting, there were some scenes that felt... cringe. But that was because they're adapting a manga. Manga has a lot of scenes that work in comic form but look really corny when done in acting, and Blue Lock was no exception to that. !<

>!Cinematography wise, the camera shots, angles and cuts all were super clean and helped a lot with the hype. In the movie's adaptation of Nagi vs Isagi in the Team V match, I really loved the way how they managed to translate how dangerous Nagi was when he was running behind Isagi (the part where Isagi couldn't smell the goal anymore.) I felt the same suspense when I watched that scene in the anime. I'm very impressed that there were barely any goofy scenes and every single scene worked. Every match in the football had me on my toes. Yes, I knew what was going to happen but the suspense of wanting to find out what it would look like in the movie was what hyped it up for me. Every goal was amazing and I kept trying to hold back from cheering every time Team Z scored. The costumes on set were very close to the manga and I love how they managed to make the characters look realistic instead of looking like actors in cosplay. Speaking of actors, they all look really good! The casting was impeccable and no one looked off. I want to highlight Kunigami and Nagi's actors here because they were very good looking! Especially Kunigami, who had a lot of shirtless scenes and his build genuinely made me jealous because he looked really majestic. Another actor that I wanna highlight is Anri. Yes, haha call me a gooner but she looked really pretty and I love how much screentime they gave her in the film because she was present in almost all the scenes with Ego, as in she was really included in there, even as a background character. In the film, they showed that she was the one who was voicing the VAR which I thought was nice since if I recall correctly, they never showed who voiced it. !<

>!I think one of the biggest surprises to me in this movie is the soundtrack. I want to note: if you're a really big Ado fan, then you will love the movie's soundtrack. "Monstruo" is an amazing song and I was listening to it while on the way to the cinemas and after. One thing that REALLY surprised me is that they managed to include "KIRA" (also another song by Ado) in the Team V match. Me and my buddy were actively singing along when the song came on because we're huge Japanese football fans and the song being included brought a smile to our faces. Aside from that, they REALLY maximized that Ado feature because there were other OSTs in the movie that had melodies from some of Ado's songs ("Odo" for example) which I thought was amazing! I myself am an Ado fan and I was very delighted to bump my head to the movie's OST. Ado aside, the OSTs really helped to add to the mood of the film. They utilized it super well and added so much to the scenes.!<

>!Did you hate anything about the movie? Unfortunately, yes. But it's only one thing and it's very minor.!<

>!I did not like how short the Team Y match felt. Okay, I understand that they only had a limited runtime, but the movie had entered the Team Y match by dropping us into the middle of it. They didn't highlight the beef between Niko and Isagi. I think the focus of the match was to show how Isagi unlocked his weapon of spatial awareness along with his first goal, but then again, I really wished that the match was longer! I would've liked to seen a small rivalry between Isagi and Niko ensue in the film but I still think that it was a very good scene! Isagi intercepting Niko's pass to Ohkawa was hype!!<

>!Finally, I want to point out that this movie did not do the extra ass "special effects" where there's straight up monsters and celestial beings appearing on the field. They wanted to keep it as realistic as possible and I very much appreciated that. I think the decision to omit those added to the realism because the movie wanted to focus on the action.!<

Overall thoughts: Yes, you should definitely go watch this movie! They did an amazing job adapting it in a live action format. And by the looks of it, YES! There will indeed be another movie (I think?) as I've only been seeing nothing but positive things about the movie and that they teased Rin, Tokimitsu and Aryu for the post-credits scene. Very excited to see how this will go (along with the rivalry between Isagi and Rin, along with the Isagi and Nagi teamup) and I'm super hyped for a potential U-20 match adaptation!

IShowSpeed has had one of the biggest redemptions ever on the Internet

Whenever people think of "IShowSpeed", people thought of the immature boy who was famous off of funny clips and controversial incidents. And when people think of him now, they think of the man who exposed the cultures of the world for people to see.

This is the SAME exact guy who was just streaming in his room, playing games and raging. This is the same guy who's wardrobe malfunction was joked about and posted all over the internet. This is the same guy who used to do nothing but gain notoriety through controversial clips and immature decisions.

And here he is now, attained worldwide success, tore down stereotypes, exposed the rest of the world to cultures that we've never explored before, won Streamer of the Year TWICE IN A ROW and performed at the World Cup 2026 closing ceremony, which is arguably one of the biggest, if not, the biggest stage in the world.

It takes a lot of effort to go from just a small content creator that everyone saw as reckless and immature to the superstar he's known as now. I think a lot of people undermine how much maturity, dedication and passion you need to undergo this type of transition in your career. And to think that he managed to do all of this while he showed it live infront of a camera is insane. It takes a lot of balls to show yourself growing up infront of an audience.

We're so proud of how far you've come, Speed.

Change My Mind: The Desire Driver is the BEST Rider belt Toei has ever made

I might have a little bit of a bias, but Kamen Rider Geats' Desire Driver is easily the BEST rider belt ever put out there. Here are my reasons why, and I want you to TRY and change my mind.

 1. ANYONE can use the Desire Driver

What makes the Desire Driver appeal to me so much is the fact that at it's very core (haha Core ID pun), it's esentially a blank driver. The only thing that personalizes it is through the existance of Core IDs which I LOVE so much because it lets you personalize the driver, as in you have your own touch on the driver outside of Buckles. So it's not just another case of (for example) Fuwa and Yua, Sougo and Geiz sharing a driver. There's just that symbol in the center that lets you know which Rider owns which driver. And I love that in the DX driver, the Core IDs just exist to activate a button, meaning that they're EXTREMELY customizable. And I think that's amazing for people who love to create their own custom Kamen Rider OCs!

 1. The "Revolve On" feature

What made the Desire Driver stand out to me is that there isn't a restriction as to where a Buckle is supposed to go. I love the idea that you can slide one into any side and it'll let you transform. Not only that, the amount of versatility you get is outstanding. You could have any Buckle combination and you get to swap where they sit. It genuinely just doubles the amount of forms a Rider can have, which I think is neat!

 1. Buckles are usable by ANYONE

With the exception of Geats Boost Mark II, Geats IX, Tycoon Bujin Sword and Buffa Plosion Rage, I love that it gives freedom to Riders by not locking them onto specific Buckles. Although it has been stated that Buckles have compatibility with certain Core IDs, the idea that anyone can use any Buckle is extremely neat! I love that the show frequently shows this by having Riders like Geats use the Ninja, Zombie and Beat Buckles and Lopo who uses the Zombie and Ninja Buckles. I think it's also neat for the reason that it saves on budget because the Buckle's forms are esentially just the same on every Rider.

TL;DR - The Desire Driver is extremely versatile and basically lets anyone be a Rider.

The only reason people hate Naoya is because he's a man

Personal opinion, but I think that Naoya only gets the hate because he's male. Think about this. How much of his hate would actually disappear if he was a woman instead? He'd be a misandrist instead of a misogynist. I don't know why, but for some reason society shames you for telling people that you don't like women. But when you tell people that you don't like men, no one bats an eye or some even praise you for it. A lot of people would probably like him more if he was a misandrist, especially the women. Regarding his actions towards Mai, I'm a firm believer that he didn't SA her. Although if he really did do that, if you reverse the gender, it would be another case of Anissa from Invincible where you've got dudes wishing it was them instead of Mark who got SA'd which I still think is weird. And I believe SA is disgusting no matter the gender. Plus, the mere fact that almost no one really shits on Anissa for doing that to Mark because she's a woman, unlike Naoya who gets shit on for suggestively SA'ing Mai. It really all boils down to the fact that Naoya's male.

HOW IS ARYU A STARTER IN EVERY SINGLE MATCH

Hot take, but Aryu (for me personally) genuinely has had ZERO presence for me other than blocking Sae's shot in the U20 match. HOW on god's green earth has this man magically crawled up to the starting lineup on ALL his games (the u20 Japan, every Ubers match, Nigeria and France) because this guy GENUINELY has zero presence. I literally FORGOT he was part of these matches because he doesn't get much notable scenes. how is HE A STARTER AND HAVE LESS PRESENCE THAN SUBS AND SIDE CHARACTERS? you're telling me that a sub like Hiori made a bigger impact during the U20 Japan match than a dude who was on the field for the whole game?? i get that he's a defender but i haven't seen this guy do his job at all 💔💔

This form... genuinely makes NO sense. Why? Why did it appear? The entire Geiz V-Cinema was about Geiz becoming a savior/hero and how he has to stop Sougo from becoming Ohma Zi-O (again). There was zero meaning to this form for Geiz's character outside than being just a tribute for Secondary Heisei Riders. It would have been nicer if we got a proper form that actually had meaning to Geiz's character development in the film. I get that the movie is supposed to be a tribute, but what the hell does the plot do as a tribute other than include past actors and have this random suit show up? And plus, the way that this form was made was SO random. What do you mean that Diend's Rider Cards can magically turn into a Grand Zi-O esque watch containing the power of past riders? What happened to having to collect Ridewatches to form a Ridewatch? I get that it's a movie and not a series so they have to make do, but COME ON! In all honesty, they should've just strayed away from the idea of making a Secondary Rider tribute movie because the movie's plot genuinely had nothing to do with honoring past riders.
