niche forums are really the only way

I play valorant and there's this forum based website for it idk if I can post it here but its called vlr

I doubt someone would just run a bot to farm engagement on there as it its not dumb like reddit where some people can't post because "not enough karma" and its mostly for people that watch the esports games so it would just be a waste of tokens vs reddit or other medias where even slight benefit from engagement has other "even better" benefits

is there a reason why waylay performs so well for me on sunset?

Every other map is a no-go, sunset has a specific structure that lets me entry really easily, for B site entry I can just dash backsite while my second contact duelist clears front site and usually no one expects that

for A site I like clearing left and right main and then dashing over the box on site and just running it down to either push mid or to push alley, either way I usually get the free-est pick of my life

stun I just use as kind of a jett smoke to "hold" a corner while I look at another you have to time it pretty well though because it'll only hold an angle for a split second or just to slow down an execute, on attack I don't really use the dash at all unless I'm going for something aggressive

all of this has only worked on sunset and no other map I guess provides the "structure" for me to entry with her, sunset is the only map I play duelist (waylay) on btw

what's the game plan for sova?

I want like a general game plan that I could follow on every map, right now I do this on attack: I do a lineup for either site or a fake, drone for my duelist and try to clear every annoying rat corner and then I don't really know what to do

i think sentinels should usually plant so they can do their setup, if I have a feeling we're gonna lose quickly I'll do a straight down double bounce and one bounce shock dart on the spike

on defence I just try to delay entry with shock darts and I don't know what else i could really do besides fight

How do you play omen without risky plays?

I sort of love and hate playing omen

on the positive side hes fine on both attack and defence which makes him a good option for me as I don't like an agent who's only good one side for example killjoy, she can barely hold flank on attack and she cannot entry, pretty good on defence though, and omen has a nice minimum floor where I don't have to frag out to provide support to my team and contribute for a win

on the negative side most of the things I see omen mains do is those flash+tp plays which to me seem scary as I don't know if my enemy is flashed or not and I need to tp far enough AND they need to be isolated, the smoke+tp on ascent A generator is pretty safe but it gets predictable after if you do it multiple times, flashing to support my duelist can also be risky because the duelist might choose to not entry on the second I throw flash unless we have good communication.
