Artisan Zero XSoft vs QcK Heavy

Hi all

I’m getting back into FPS games (mainly CS) and am looking for a mousepad. I am on a budget and after looking around this is what I’m considering:
- Used Artisan Zero XSoft
- New QcK Heavy

Both are for the same price (about €25)
Which one should I buy? I think a Zero Soft would be the ideal mousepad for me and I’ve read some polarizing reviews about the XSoft so I’m unsure.

I’m not a pro player, I’d say I’m average. But I do like quality gear and a nice experience (don’t we all)

Mousepad For Mid Sens?

Hello I'm once again trying to find a good mousepad for me I usually play around 43cm slowest to 30cm fastest I've tried the artisan zero soft and I just don't like it my sens feels very jerky. What would y'all recommend for an actual control pad. I also have a LGG Pro Venus.i mainly struggle with tracking currently using a Deathadder v4 pro mouse. I play a lot of apex as well.

Artisan soft vs mid with dots

Hey everyone I have an artisan zero soft with jade speed dot skates and most of the time they feel horrible because they sink and drag so I wanted to know if the experience is different with a hien soft? Are all softs of the artisan fx pads the same in terms of dots sinking ?Or maybe the hien is faster so it won’t feel as slow with dots like the zero?

Lgg Saturn Pro vs Ninja fx zero

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some help/recommendations for my next mousepad.

Right now I’m using the ATK Sky Pro, and honestly it feels kinda “boring” to me. Recently I tried using Tiger Ice V2 dot skates on it, but I clearly had issues with the mouse sinking into the pad because the pad itself is pretty soft. I ended up adding more dots just to stop the mouse from digging into the surface.

I mainly play Valorant, and honestly this combo (the pad + the dots) just feels very underwhelming. I originally bought it because I didn’t want to spend too much money, but at this point budget honestly isn’t a problem anymore. I’m open to trying basically anything, even glass pads if needed.

For reference, I play Valorant at 0.157 sens / 1600 DPI.

The main issue is that this pad feels too “balanced” in a bad way. I know it’s supposed to be neither a control nor a speed pad, but that’s exactly my problem with it. When I want more control, it doesn’t really give me that. But when I want more speed, it also doesn’t fully deliver either.

It feels fast enough while moving around, but I don’t feel properly “locked in” when starting flicks, and at the same time it doesn’t stop enough for precise micro-adjustments and microflicks. It just feels like it lacks stopping power overall, if that makes sense.

After reading a ton of Reddit threads, the two pads I constantly see recommended for Valorant are the Saturn Pro and the Artisan Zero (Ninja FX Zero). I know there are already a million debates comparing these two, but honestly what I’d really like are direct recommendations for full combos, like:

  • Saturn Pro + specific skates
  • Artisan Zero + specific skates

I’m getting deeper into the hobby and I genuinely want to experiment with different setups.

I’ll also admit the red Saturn Pro looks really appealing to me because I absolutely love red mousepads. On the other hand, the new TenZ Artisan Zero version is currently out of stock, which is kinda unfortunate.

I’ve also seen a lot of people saying Soft or Mid is usually better if you’re using dot skates. Honestly, I feel like Soft or Mid would probably fit me best too, even though I do a lot of microflicks. But I’m still completely open to recommendations.

I also just wanted to hear what people in this subreddit are currently using for Valorant and what setups you guys personally enjoy the most.

I’m open to trying a lot of different things, and hopefully finding the right setup for my next purchase. Even if I buy one of the two now, I could easily buy the other one a month later and compare both. I really don’t mind. I’m just struggling to decide what my first “serious” mousepad purchase should be.

Fastest skates for Artisan Raiden Mid?

hi, What mouse skates would be the fastest on a Ninja FX Raiden Mid / Artisan pad? I’m only interested in maximum speed and minimum friction — I’m not looking for control or stopping power at all, I only care about maximum speed and minimum friction.

Looking for an Artisan Zero Soft alternative that works well with arm sleeves

I'm looking for a mousepad that feels very similar to the Artisan Zero Soft but is compatible with arm sleeves.

My hands/arms sweat easily, so wearing a sleeve is a must for me. However, I noticed that arm sleeves get stuck on the Zero Soft. I've tried using a Kibu arm sleeve, horizontal movements feel fine, vertical movements get quite muddy and stuck. So, I can't use my arm to aim

I play tacfps and tracking-heavy games, but right now I'm mainly playing Kovaak's.

Any recommendations for a pad with a similar glide but a sleeve-friendly surface? Thanks!

Alternative to LGG Saturn Pro XL SQ?

I’m getting back into PC gaming and was looking for a new mousepad. I think they discontinued the Saturn Pro. I liked the 500x500mm, humidity resistance, the low stitching and overall speed. Are there any ones similar? I remember I tried the artisan version but it didn’t have enough “stopping power” for me. Thanks!

Type 99 or Zero?

I’ve been using an LGG Saturn Pro XSoft for the past year and a half now, had a hien before. Looking to get a new pad because im traveling to Japan soon. Play mainly Valorant and R6 (R6 rarely).

Any suggestions? I prefer control pads as I usually play on slower sens. I heard the zero is faster than the saturn pro but is the Type 99 that much slower? Which one should I get or should I stay with my Saturn Pro?

Also if I were to get the Type 99 or Zero should i get soft or xsoft?
And if the type 99 were to be extremely slow would getting tiger ice skates help? Sorry for the abundance of questions.

ARTISAN data breach?

Here asking if anyone else’s credit card info was in a data breach lately after purchasing an artisan mousepad.

I only used my card to order a new Zero recently & now my bank has called me telling me my card was in a data breach of sorts.
(had to cancel my credit card)

They told me it was most likely from the Artisan website.

& before anyone asks, yes it was the official website & my new pad is sitting on my desk rn.

My first Artisan Zero Large pad but…

I’m still unsure how I feel about my Artisan Zero Soft.

I mainly play Overwatch and bought it hoping to give my heavy G502X Plus a bit more speed and surface area while keeping good control. The pad feels super smooth and the quality is amazing compared to the cheap Logitech G240 pad I used before.

My issue is that my sens now feels much faster, and I don’t feel as precise or controlled as I did on my old setup, even though that pad was objectively worse.

Is this just something that takes time to adjust to? Should I lower my sens while adapting? Just trying to figure out if this pad is actually right for me.

Any feedback is appreciated.

What is the FASTEST glass mousepad?

I want to get the fastest mousepad. I did some research and was considering getting the Zane, but the image on it looks kind of corny and I don't want that on my desk... I am wondering if there are any faster mousepad options available.

Xraypad dot skates alternatives?

I’m looking into getting back into using a glass pad and it’ll likely be the VA-005 or SP-005 and I wanted to ask what are some good dot skate alternatives to Xraypad that are optimized for glass pads?

Looking for CS2 mousepad advice

Hey everyone, last two years im been mainly using a hyperx balanced mousepad but started to look into more expensive and proper options for control/slow-balanced mousepads. My budget would be around 50-60$. I seen atk 99 and steelseries qck, but really confused on what to really buy. If anyone can help would be great:)

GLSSWRKS Polarity - The best main glass mousepad to buy in 2026

https://preview.redd.it/0sniehkrc12h1.jpg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a8ed2d42564b628cb0546c212fa3752d5de8460

Hello fellow mousepad conniseurs,

the title might be a bit hyperbolic but hear me out.

I have bought and used more than 30 different glass mousepad models so far and of some of these I had multiple units for testing purposes.

The problem with glass is that unlike cloth the surface is never 100% identical. Companies can come close depending on how much they pay extra for quality control but that´s about it. The VA-005 for example had some really slow and some extremely fast units while the reference point is only slightly faster than the SP-005. The SP-005 does not have that big of a gap between fast and slow units but a rather big gap in the friction profile with some units having way too much static friction. So as you can see, consistency can be an issue.

Now there is the GLSSWRKS Polarity. Made from glanova^(®) glass which is harder than the standard soda lime most companies use. A coated mousepad with the promise of a balanced friction profile and constant restocks. Almost too good to be true.

I went and bought not only one but five Polarity from different batches and even one review sample to compare the different units friction profiles and overall QC.

Versions I owned:
- L size white (review sample)
- L size white (retail unit)
- L size black (retail unit)
- XL size black (retail unit)
- XL size white (retail unit)

Surprisingly all of my units have been near identical with the white ones being a tad smoother than the black ones but overall the friction profile was the same. They all had the absolute same coating, same behavior across different skate materials and they all reacted the same to water. This doesn´t sound as impressive as it actually is and only the LaOnda Glaze had this level of quality control before.

I´ve talked about the friction profile a lot now but what is the glide like?
The Polarity has decently low static friction, just enough to ensure tug free micro corrections but enough to make it easy to stop the mouse.
The Dynamic friction is on the low medium end and helps guiding the mouse but not forcing it a certain way, compared to a pad like the Superglide V3, that has quite high dynamic friction. There is no vertical to horizontal imbalance and the omnidirectional friction is perfectly balanced. The surface texture creates just enough feedback to always give you an idea of where you´re moving your mouse.

The Polarity is one of the few pads that is highly skate sensitive so you can fine tune the glide by using different dot skates. The overall speed can vary from really fast with virgin ptfe skates to decently controlled and even great for tac fps using U9 Air UHMW-PE skates.

Not everything is perfect though. between 5% and 10% of the white units are estimated to cause tracking issues when used with 3950 sensor mice. Personally I have not experienced this but Tekkusai has confirmed this on discord. The reason for this seems to be that some of the white units on the lowest end of the allowed tolerances were a bit too smooth and the glass too clear for the sensor to track properly on parts of the surface. For this reason the white unit has been on a release hiatus until the issue is solve. They already made a more greyish white model that is currently in the testing phase. Unfortunately I could not get one of the new white review samples 😞 With this being said, all of my white ones were flawless on high LOD across multiple sensors and mice.

Now is the polarity the best glass pad? Probably not because it will never surpass a pure speed pad in speed nor a control pad in friction but it excells in what it´s promising: Balance. This glass mousepad is the Artisan Zero of glass pads. You can play everything on it and you can tune the glide enough with dot skates to make it feel like a different pad. To me this makes it the overall best glass pad to main in 2026.
