Metrova Yin released

Matrova's New glass pad, YIN has released.

It's 490mm x 420mm x 1.5mm glass, 1mm base, rounded edges

surface being uncoated and special texture, carbon-like surface

The speed is advertised as a BALANCED

It has 2 designs, the one with this image above and custom image. So you can just put some art/image to make ur own glasspad design.

The price is $65 USD but it's on sale right now so it's $60 USD

It's currently available on Matrova's official website

Since those carbon like texture are really special texture that is no where to be find before Yin to release and releasing with pretty cheap price compared to current glasspad market, it'll be really good for entering glasspad. Being cheap, balance glide being not that fast.

Longest lasting cloth mousepad?

Thinking about picking up my local razer strider from micro center. But are there and better alternatives of mousepads I am not aware of that will last me significantly longer?

To glasspad users

How's your glass pads treating you? I bought first one 6-7 months ago because my previous mousepad, the hien xsoft which kinda irritated my skin quite abit because of it's rough texture and I've always found it too plush despite reaching immortal in valorant and lvl 10 in cs. So I switched to a demon1 glasspad and it has served me quite well. I don't think it improved my aim as much as I thought it would and at first it made me more aware of my aim and distrustful on my muscle memory but now I think aiming just felt better and easier.

But I've come to enjoy it's smoothness and I was never a fan of my previous plush hien clothpad. Another thing is that I think my rifling has gotten way better at the cost of my awping/sniper rifles. Although I have come to miss the plug and play convenience where I don't have to wipe it as much and feel every speck of dust, lint and atoms on the surface and the feeling of cloth. So i'm recently thinking of picking up an artisan zero soft but I wanted to have some opinions first from people who uses glasspads or used and switch back to cloth.

I tried out my hien again, still dislike the plushiness and roughness but the feeling of cloth felt really nice.

Restorable?

My lil sis borrowed by Artisan while I was overseas for Uni and this is what it became of. Creases, ridges, ravines on half the mousepad. I want to know if that is restorable in anyway. I don’t particularly hold sentimental feelings for it, I just want my sister to have a better mousepad. I’ve cleaned it but creases obviously still reside.

Pulsar Superglide3 slower than my Pulsar PD170

I got the chance to borrow a Pulsar Superglide 3 glass mouse pad for my first glass experience and I'm feeling a bit mixed about it. I wasn't expecting it to be slower than my PD170 cloth pad using the same stock skates on my Vaxee XE-S.

Is this normal? I was expecting even the slowest glass pads to be faster than the fastest cloth pads. I'm sure that I can tune it to be very similar to my PD170 with some dot skates but I'm sort of in two minds about getting my own glass pad or not.

Pros:

  • Looks amazing (dark green colourway)
  • Easy to maintain and won't get dirty like my cloth pads
  • I already use a gaming sleeve
  • The sound of my mouse on it is quiet and not unpleasant

Cons:

  • Its very cold to the touch...
  • Slower than expected

Will the glass pad feel different after my stock skates wear in a bit? Really thinking about whether to get my own and sell my PD170.

If I can get the same feel of the PD170 from the superglide3, I think I would prefer the easier maintenance and beautiful look of it.

Ghostglides Masterpiece v2

Ghostglides released Masterpiece v2, but on sub, really nobody is talking about this pad.

Already on the Ghostglides site, this mousepad is sold out; price £37.99 ($50), and if my memory doesn't fail me, v1 was more expensive.

I like the print, and Ghostglides do this very well.

I think it's an alternative to Artisan Raiden Soft

The mousepad is limited to 800x units worldwide

How to go about cleaning my pad?

Its a $10 pad since I couldn't really find this one in particular so obv its cheap material but how do I go about cleaning it?

What should I buy - Chinese Brands

Since Chinese Brands are the most accessible for me, I have been digging around for some good pads on the budget side, but there are so many of them that I can't decide which one to go with.

Here are some of the brands I've found:

--------------------------------------

Quotax - 55%

KYUU Design - Eclipse

Rayzon - Kui Pro and Chengying Pro

Vocal Gear - Pi and Lei Ran

Zpmax - ZP1 and ZP2

Trashpad - Tai Sui

ESPtiger - Tang Dao (Black)

Bythere - Bai Yu Jing Ultra V2

---------------------------------------

If anyone knows anything about these pads, I would appreciate all the info. I'm mostly looking for a pad that's close the Artisan Zero Soft in terms of speed. The Type-99 is too slow for me.

Looking for a new glasspad

Hello. Ive been looking for a new glasspad for myself since my friend is going to buy my Padsmith Empress Rosa v2 off me (nearly impossible for them to get mousepads). I want something along the lines of the same thing. 500x500 or similar sizes (490x420 is too small). Surface maybe textured idk tho. Preferably white and no anime designs. Ive been eyeing the glsswrks polarity, but everywhere ive looked its out of stock (im eu). Anyone got any ideas? Any help would be appreciated!

Mousepad qck heavy

Is it worth buying the qck heavy? From what I saw it doesn't have the poron base and such.. but still many cs pros use it.. I have a type-99 and I feel that it grabs it a lot, I have the mid version, unfortunately I bought it and I can't return it and I'm looking for another mousepad control with a good stopping power but that is not mud like the type-99

Has anyone used both the Vaxee PD170 and the Artisan Key83?

I'm planning to buy one of the two—which one would be more satisfying? I intend to get the "Mid" version of the Key83. I'm not particularly concerned about speed.

Padsmith prosperity has arguably one of the best designs out rn

In a world full of random anime girls on your desk, the Padsmith Prosperity really manages to stand out with its unique design. Personally I would lean out of the window and argue that this has got to be atleast top5 pad designs if not top3.

Please help me choose the right Artisan pad.....Zero, or Key 83

Hello! I'm looking to purchase my first Artisan pad, and am having trouble choosing between the Zero, and the Key 83.

TL;DR: How abrasive is the Key 83 texture? Would you say it's slightly more textured than the Zero? Is it rough on the skin? Choosing between the 83, and Zero, just don't want a heavily textured pad like the Hien, or even the Otsu.

I've never used a textured pad in my life, but I think I would like it. My only concern is how rough/abrasive the texture is on the Key 83.

From what I understand the Hien has a very rough, sandpaper like texture...so that is out of the question. I don't want a heavily textured pad, one that would potentially irritate my skin in longer sessions, or require me to wear sleeve (which I don't want to do). I then thought about the Hayate Otsu V2. Comes in red, which is one of my favorite colors, and would go great with my aesthetic, and is a hybrid pad, which I think I would like a lot. However, I've read that it still has quite an abrasive/rough surface, just not as much as the Hien.

That brings me to the Key 83. From what I understand it has a textured surface, but nothing like the Otsu, or Hien. That it's not rough on the skin, and is slightly more textured than the Zero. Is this all true? How much texture does the Key 83 have? I'm really choosing between the orange Zero, and the black 83. I feel like I would ultimately rather have the 83 due to it's hybrid characteristics, and balancing speed/control, I also like that people say it's similar to glass in the way the mouse feels. I'm just worried the texture might be too much. If the texture is there, but not rough on the skin, and not super noticeable then I will definitely get the 83. If the texture is rough on the skin, and very pronounced then I will just get the Zero.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Experiences of the ASUS NC-16 ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab mousepad?

For the people who have used this mousepad for a slightly longer period of time; is it worth it? Does it hold up well in use? And what are your general experiences with it? Thank you! :)

Hayate Otsu v2 for Comp games?

Im switching from my sp-005 and going back to cloth. I tried out my old hien but felt like it was time for an upgrade. I heard about the Otsu v2 but seen mixed reviews.

I play a lot of overwatch and marvel rivals, sometimes valorant and aim train somewhat daily. Would the otsu v2 xsoft? I know it’s preference based so I’m just trying to get as much information as I can before purchasing.

I also use the wlmouse beast x pro ultra with xraypad jade speeds dot skates.

I changed from Artisan Dots to Tiger ICE full skates and I kinda hate it…

Mouse: Mchose L7 Pro
Mousepad: Artisan Zero Soft XXL

So I got my first proper mousepad and mouse earlier this year after always using generic pads and whatever Logitech labeled as gaming for a mouse.

It was a huge upgrade. My mousepad came with Artisan Mizugumo skates. When I ordered my mouse I ordered some Tiger Ice full sized skates as I didn’t know the Artisan would come with some.

I took off the stock Mchose skates and put the dots on and the feel was amazing. They got faster and smoother the more they wore in. I have like 300+ hours in aim trainers with these alone - best my aim has ever been amongst hundreds of hours in actual games.

Yesterday, out of pure curiosity for what the full sized Tiger Ice skates would feel like I decided to rip the dots off and swap to full size.

My mouse feels like it’s glued to the pad, it has way too much friction to what I was used to. Couldn’t hit anything to my normal standards in aim training and in my games my aim felt really lazy and sloppy.

Before I jump to any conclusions, will these skates feel better as they wear in? I was under the impression these were on the faster end in the skate spectrum? They are probably 80% slower than my dots so for me it’s a huge change.

Should I stick to them and give them a proper go? Or get some more dots on order to go back to what I know?
