Is it worth testing on multiple mousepads? + glass pad recommendations

I know a lot about mice but honestly haven’t experimented much with pads. I love my Aqua Control 2 and have been using Obsidian/Obsidian Air dots for a while now.

Is there much value in having a few different pads when testing mice, or is sticking with one familiar baseline better?

I’m also thinking about trying a glass pad. Any recommendations for something not insanely fast? Ideally something more middle of the road with decent control/stopping power. Also as close to 500x500mm as possible.

My fellow large hand aimers what mouse are you using.

I have pretty large hands around 22x10.2 cm.

What mouse are you using, what grip and what do you like or not like about it.

Have you found something that actually fits your hand or are you like me and just settling for the "this works" option. Curious to see what people are using.
