XL2546X 240 Hz vs XL2586X 540 Hz vs QD OLED 360 Hz

I have an Alienware aw2725df 360 hz oled monitor. I am looking to buy a zowie monitor for the competitive edge but not sure which one is the right one for me.

My options are XL2546X (240 Hz, around $420) or XL2586X (540 Hz, around $700). I play the following games with average fps mentioned in parentheses - Finals (300-320 fps), BF6 (240-300), Rivals (280-300 fps), Overwatch (550 fps).

I had the following queries -

  1. Is the 240 hz zowie a better buy in my case? I don't play alot of cs or val and can't hit the 540 fps mark in the games i do play

  2. Is 240 hz / 540 hz zowie an upgrade over oled 360 hz for the games i have mentioned? I was inclinded towards 540 hz but I also know I can't hit those frames in the games i play. Whereas i can hit 240 fps In every game i play so dyac2 would function as intended with no double images

  3. Is it worth paying around 50-55% more for the 540 hz variant even if I am not hitting 540 fps in game?

  4. I can get 300 fps average in game. Which one is better? A) running 240 hz, dyac2 on with 240 fps cap B) running 540 hz, dyac2 on with no fps cap, frames averaging 300

Which one would you pick in this case?

Turn off dyac 2 when below maximum refresh rate?

Dyac 2 and maximum refresh rate (600 hz) can give the lowest possible motion blur but the issue is most PCs can't hit 600 fps outside cs2, valorant, overwatch, and R6. Here we can just run the monitor at 600 hz with dyac 2 on.

Some games like apex has an engine limit (300 fps) whereas some like marvel rivals are just hard to run (UE5). What is the best possible anti motion blur solution for these games?

Following are the few options I have seen (assume the game is running at 300 fps)

  1. Turn on dyac 2 with 600 hz even though the fps is much below the refresh rate (say the game is running at 300 fps). Hardware unboxed and others say this let's to some artifacting or some other issues

  2. Turn off dyac 2 with 600 hz with game at 300 fps. 600 hz is already good and dyac 2 is not needed, and the issue of scenario 1 won't be present here

  3. Turn on dyac 2, set a custom refresh rate of 280 and lock the fps to the max one can achieve (say 280 fps is being achieved 95% of the time)

I am thinking that if scenario 1's issues are true then it's better to run oled for games other than cs2, val, etc where hitting 600 fps isn't possible..

Perfect counter items for every character

Is there a list for one or two item that counters a character perfectly?

For e.g.

Healbane/Spiritburn for Victor

Metal skin/Knockdown for Haze

Knockdown for Vindicta, Seven(before he buys unstoppable)

Counterspell/Indomitable for Lash

.. and so on. The items that make the game unplayable for these characters when the enemy team has 2 or 3 of them

I have a Tekkusai Singularity. I have tried the titanium u9s but I have this noticed that it feels very scratchy, and it's also loud. Because of that scratchy feeling it's very uncomfortable to use.

I'd like something that would be comfortable to use with no scratchy feeling. I have tried 4, 6, 8, 10 titanium u9 dots and it still feels as if the base of the mouse is scratching the pad every time I use it.

I am using a razer viper mini.

I was thinking of getting obsidian pro air upe universal dot or donuts ..

In my games when he is fed, he is very hard to take down.

I understand he is extremely powerful when your isolated against him but even in a team fight he hits hard.

Are there any items that can hard counter him? Like Can dispel magic remove his mark so that he can't tp? Is there any item that can remove the blind from his ult?

I mostly run Geist or Mirage.

Reactive barrier activates against stuns, immobilisation, chain, etc but does it work against apollo ult?

is reactive barrier a better buy against paige, graves where they stun you alot or is it better to buy dispel?

How to properly counter close range melee life stealers like Billy, Abrams, Yamato, etc?

I have been having a lot of troubling against these heroes lately as once they get close it's game over.

Building against spirit heavy or bullet heavy heroes is straightforward as one can buy spirit/bullet res, spellbreaker/metalskin and it works out.

Lately billy, Abrams and yamato have been going lobby admin in my games with 15+ kills. I try to buy healbane if it's early and spirit burn in late game to deny healing and rebuttal but it still doesn't feel enough.

Is there a general strategy and reliable items that would work majority of the time? Abrams had 56k healing even tho I had healbane and focus lens directly on him. Yamato just grapples from the other side of the map at 20% hp and still ends up winning. Like one would expect her to run but she becomes more aggresive when at low hp. I have also ran juggernaut in late game but I feel I really need something else to make a difference like metal skin against haze ult. Is there any such items against them especially when they are fed?

I have seen the general wisdom of buying it first and then eating at 10 min mark. But I have also seen some m1 carries characters that only fight the best in late game (wraith, victor, mirage, etc) hold on to it till the 25-30 min mark.

I think for the gankers like mina, lash etc it's better to eat it at 10 min and for m1 carries it's better to eat it at 25-30min. Not sure whether this is a good idea or not?

Also is the goose egg farming stats mechanix fixed? Because some people would get 20k souls and spam egg to get massive buffs.

I play one of the m1 carry heroes that only get good in the late game. My focus is on stopping their minions and hitting boxes, jungle, sinners in between. I find that my character feels ready to fight at around the 25 min mark. Before that I feel less confident in my character.

But lately I have noticed majority of the players are less interested in stopping the waves and more in PvPing. One game I had a warden with 2 kills 15 deaths getting mad at me for helping my yellow lane and farming while he is solo fighting in green lane and getting wiped everytime. And quite a lot of games i have noticed the PvPers getting like 20k less souls than me..

Btw what's the most efficient way to farm? I have been doing the loop of killing the wave then hitting the jungle, sinners, boxes in between and leaving them before the wave touches my guardian/walker..

After the laning phase. I really like to babysit my side lane as I am playing one of the m1 carries so I gotta farm a lot so I can hyper carry in the late game.

But I always see this scenario come up where

  1. One of the walkers is down

  2. My babysitting walker and another walker is up (2 remaining)

  3. Now I consistently notice the other walker being walked up on many times because my team is getting to invested in a fight in the jungle so much that they never make it in time to stop the minions from walking up. I also notice in my own lane a guy constantly trying to walk up but back off as soon as I show him presence.

  4. Dilemma - do I try to save the other walker and lose my own? Both are being walked up on and saving one means losing the other. I feel more bad when I lose my lanes walker as I was supposed to protect that
