I can’t believe it actually happened! Months ago, I posted a video hoping Embark would add this exact animation to the game, and seeing it live today feels surreal.

Also you don't need to download entire 67 GB client or even launch Arc Raiders:

1. Press big green "Play Now" button on steam page
2. Choose install location
3. Accept the EULA
4. Pause the download while it's at 0-1%
5. Launch The Finals and claim the outfit
6. Uninstall the Arc Raiders

I have nothing against having 4,5,6, or 7 steals but don’t change the time frame up on me in the final round of a tourney without at least saying something.

We’re guided into this sense of time from previous rounds and to change it without saying it anywhere at all is kinda crazy, especially when there’s a “rule change” message.

I’m being inspired to make a White Death’s outfit

I know I suck, I'm new to the game and I'm bronze 2 still. But why put me up against just gold and silver? If I lose normally I lose, I'm not going to bitch about that, but I don't want to play ranked if it's going to be a loss like this constantly. It feels like I'm just a punching bag for them, it just doesn't feel good to play like that. Even if the matchmaking isn't going to be skill based and you're going to put bronze and gold in the same lobby, you could at least balance the teams. They could have made it so it's 2 gold with each bronze. But no, a team of bronze of similar level against teams of gold of similar levels. How is this in any way fair? I'm not going to uninstall the game, I'm having fun most of the time, but seriously, even if you're not doing skill based matchmaking, couldn't you at least work on team balancing?

I've decided that since so many here seem to think that Shockwave shutting down melee from using any gadgets/specs to survive/close distance, then it only seems fair that melee receives its own version of the concept.

Introducing, The Jammer (you must always include "The" and make sure it's capitalized) gadget. It is exclusively available to melee weapons. What it does is simple, you pull up the tablet, point a cylinder shaped hitbox(be glad I didn't decide on a cone or an AoE blast) at the target(s), and click.

This forces all targets to reload their guns. The reload is a bit slower than normal (maybe 20%), due to the player having to clear the jam/fix the malfunction. It could also be funny if it forced weapons like the Bow and Throwing Knives to wait a moment before attacking when hit due to them dropping their current arrow/knife...bundle? Have then jam their finger or something so that I don't have to think of a new name.

Now because I'm trying to be reasonable, it would probably only have one charge. The CD shouldn't be particularly long, though. I'm not going to put an exact number because I know that's the only thing some of you would focus on. We're thinking bug picture here.

So yeah, if Embark adds something like this to the game, I won't complain about Shockwave having a 2 second long glitch. Honestly, I'm almost being too kind considering the targets would still be able to use their defensive utility and kick.

I always heard a lot about the creativity and skill ceiling in this game but was rlly enjoying other games so the urge to try smth new hadnt been there for a while.

Its such a shame (at least in oce) it seems to be struggling with active player numbers.

I downloaded a week ago, and have been trying to convince my friends from other games to come play but i guess most of them are happy and comfy with the games they know and already enjoy.

For me personally seeing clips and stuff before playing the game it all looks pretty daunting and not beginner friendly but with decent mechanics its very fun very early.

I havent watched many guides (and although im sure people have always been doing this / every shockwave user does this idk) but ive sorta made my own skeet shooting playstyle with shockwave revolver.

Just goes to show it really is a creative playground. I wish i knew rhe answer to getting more players. I feel like for so many people its just a matter of actually being bothered to give it a try. Its a hard game not to enjoy there is literally smth for everyone.

I did a lil CAD warmup this morning by modeling up the void core anti-grav cube. I might print it out if I find another time to finish adding in details. Methinks it would make for a great Christmas tree ornament but i need to figure out how to make a black hole... any suggestions yall?

I still need to add the wires, round the sharp corners, and add the ribbed texture on the internal faces. Pls let me know if you're smarter than me and know how to do that last one without leaving fusion.
