I’m writing this because I honestly love what Embark initially brought to the table, but after seeing the recent interview with the guy who developed the very first cheats for Arc Raiders, I’m just completely done.If you haven't seen it yet, a well-known creator interviewed a cheat developer who basically exposed how fundamentally broken Embark's entire infrastructure is.

It directly affects The Finals too.

Here are the main takeaways that should honestly scare anyone who cares about these games:

The dev literally warned them. He found critical vulnerabilities in the source code early on and reached out to Embark to report them. They completely ignored him. Instead of fixing the house before building it, they just left the front door wide open.A literal "Unban Tool" exists. Apparently, due to a compromised developer account or tool, cheaters can now unban any account instantly. They just type in the Account ID, hit a button, and boom—back in the game. Anti-cheat is completely useless if a banned player can just revive their account in 5 seconds.Lobby hijacking (Goodbye streamers). They have a tool that lets them force-join any active match if they know a player's ID. This is the ultimate stream-sniping weapon. If content creators can't stream Arc Raiders without getting targeted every single match, this game is dead on arrival.They already shifted focus. According to the interview, Embark has basically moved their main resources toward two new games planned for 2027. They are leaving their current ecosystem to rot while chasing the next shiny thing.This completely explains the absolute state of The Finals lately. It's not just "bad anti-cheat"—the entire core security architecture across Embark's ecosystem is fundamentally compromised, and management seems to look the other way.
