Yesterday, I went to a tech store to buy a printer. While waiting to get billed, I decided to check out the Samsung Galaxy S25 just to see how it felt, as I've been thinking about getting a second device. However, the notorious green line problem is what has been holding me back.
After a few moments, a clueless salesman walked up and asked what phone I currently use. I told him that I use multiple devices, but my daily driver is a Nothing Phone (2). To be honest, he got surprisingly furious. He told me that Nothing is just another Chinese brand
headquartered in London purely to manipulate people, claiming their phones are terrible and don't come close to brands like Motorola, Vivo, or Samsung.
He insisted I should go with the S25 because 'it's a Samsung.' When I brought up my concerns about the green line issue, he got even more upset. He claimed that the green line happens to every phone with an OLED display and warned that it would inevitably ruin my phone in the coming year. He spouted a ton of nonsense, treating me like someone who knows absolutely nothing about tech. He even called the CEO, Carl Pei, a 'number one scammer' who just tricks 15-to-25-year-olds into buying his brand. Honestly, these days, even a 15-year-old has more tech knowledge than that guy. He just kept talking trash about the brand. What is your opinion about such behavior.
But i have few concerns
Would this phone help me to limit my daily phone usage cus of its simple style
People keep saying i may get bored of it after buying it cus of how different it is then other phones
The camera quality is everything for me. Would this phone be enough
Side photos of the case i bought. Hope it helps. I saw a ppst that spi gen is also selling but i think its the same as the one in the box. So not for me. I also saw one that is clear in ali express but when it arrived it is deformed. Maybe due to transportation. So i cut it and throw it out. So disappointed

I just wanted to hear former Apple users who switched to Nothing opinions. Definitely looking to deApple but I know I absolutely hate Samsung UI. How well did adjustment go? What are some surprises you had, negative or positive?
It just arrived!I
Bought it new in Mexico for 664 USD
I'm coming from a Moto edge 40 pro
I'm absolutely loving nothing!
Hi! I’m looking for a phone recommendation. I need a decent camera and a solid daily driver that can handle casual gaming like Wildrift. My Nothing Phone (2a) was recently stolen, and I’m wondering if the 3a pro is the right move, or if I should look at other brands. I usually stick to Nothing or Pixel, but I’m open to suggestions. I’d love to hear from actual users or tech enthusiasts who know their stuff. Thanks!
Just finished 10th need a phone was looking to buy cmf phone 2 pro but it's out of stock and cmf phone 3 pro is expected to launch late as per some news.... Suggest me a phone with good camera under 25k... (love the nothing ui BTW) should I just go with 3a lite?
My Nothing Phone 3a heats up a lot and the performance starts slowing down. The phone begins lagging, and the screen feels like it’s running at 60Hz even though it’s set to 120Hz. This doesn’t happen only in summer — even during winter the phone stays slightly warm most of the time, especially after watching Instagram reels for 2–3 hours.
Right now, because of the extreme heat in NCR, India, it gets even worse and I sometimes have to put the phone in the fridge for a few minutes just to cool it down. Not sure if this is normal for this device or if there’s an issue with my unit specifically. Any suggestions?
I left my phone in bag for exam and it was automatically power off and won't turn on for almost 30 minutes and then this screen pops up
I have a S25 Ultra which I love but I am interested in the Nothing phones. I don't necessarily need the best of the best but which one would be a great all arounder Nothing phone to be used as a secondary daily driver? Thanks everyone!
It's decent. I got a defective case when i bought my phone and said it is fine. But i can't take it anymore lol combination of nothing 4a white gray and black is 🔥.
Link for the item. In case someone ask. 😑
What do you think of this? Found it on noon.

It seems both cases from Spigen have now finally shown up on Amazon. The pro case may be showing on the UK store only at the minute.

Still holding out hope for a neo one case, but this is welcome for now.
My Nothing 2a lost nearly 40% overnight! (Locked)
The past weeks my (now 22 Months old) Nothing Phone 2a felt a bit more "laggy" and slower than usual. Some Apps didn't run as smooth as in the past. At first I thought this might be, because my storage was nearly full. But it stayed like that even after making some space. Although the new 4a Pro Looked like a nice upgrade, I didn't plan to spend money on a new phone atm and thought this might be my brain just looking for a reason to upgrade.
Since the last OS Update it kept getting worse and the battery was draining faster than before. Especially when it was under 40%. Usually my phone would last a whole day without any problems. Only when I used it heavily or a lot of Google maps I needed to charge a bit before going to sleep.
In the new power settings I capped the battery charge to 90% and installed an app to track my battery-%.
Before last before going to sleep last night I set my alarm, closed all Apps and left my phone (charged full / to 90%) locked beside my bed. Next morning it's down to 53%. That's crazy.
WiFi and Bluetooth was still on, but in the past I could leave my phone like that and still have 80-90% battery.
I guess my phone is cooked, what do you think? Any other 2a users with similar experiences?
I hope I can get a replacement via Amazon, since it's still in the 2 year warranty timeframe.
PS: writing this post cost me 3% battery btw.
I had to get a new phone because my charging port is on its way out. I will miss the glyphs so damn much since I used them a lot, even at work. But I will fix it if I get the parts. I wish you could just order them from nothing directly instead of having to send your phone to them
Hi,
i am Thinking about buying my first Nothing Phone. But i have two questions:
- whats so Special about The whole ecosystem
- is it really better to buy The 3 instead of 4 pro? I mean The 4 pro is newer so it get longer Updates in the Future even If Tech of 3 IS still better. Am i wrong?
I would be very Happy about experiences, Tipps and answers. Sorry for my Bad english
