I'm starting to get really into content creation, and I had some success last week with a vanlife cooking video, so I thought I'd do another one and talk a bit about the Winx and how they inspire my writing.

I am homeless and on the verge of starvation, and I am convinced I have a new van conversion headed my way! I am excited for it. It's got a full build-out, a kitchen, a bed that can be put away, plenty of storage space, and Starlink! It's awesome!

Saoirse Storm is a sports star trapped in a death pact, the only way out: go pro. When she throws a game that makes turning pro impossible, she'll have to save her county by going on a wacky adventure to a burlesque dance club to restore her team's magic.

Dance. Sports. Death.
At 18, Saoirse is an exceptional hurler (a cross between lacrosse and field hockey), competing on the semi-professional women’s (camogie) team and trying to go pro with her favorite team in the whole wide world, the County Tyrconnell Hurling Club.
Tryouts are in a few weeks, but she won’t be able to make it. A death pact binds her to participate in her religion’s sacred rite; there’s only one way out for good: turn pro.
With only eight days before the death pact triggers, Saoirse, desperate to escape the rite and participate in tryouts, throws the last match of the season to buy herself time. But her throw puts her under investigation and, worse, causes her only chance at the pros—the County Tyrconnell Hurling Club—to fold.
Yet the tiniest hint of luck is on her side: a loophole in the law states that if she is found guilty of crimes she didn’t commit, the pro team will get a shot at a redemption match. Only, they’re the worst team in all Éire. They can’t use their magic, and the secret to fixing it lies in the halls of an Éirish step-dance burlesque cabaret.
Her county can’t possibly survive without the team’s magic, a magical new player, or both. They need a player with skills. They need a player who cares enough to help. They need a player like the one about to be sentenced to life in a dungeon. A player like—
