looking to get new tires as i burned what i had left of mine, is a 275/45R17 too big for a 17x8 wheel?

Hey everyone, looking to get some budget friendly coilovers on my 04’ GT, i’m looking into SR preformance V2’s at the moment. some more insight on them would be great or any other recommendations you guys have, i daily the car so im looking for something smooth that handles decently well. Thanks.
