Hello! My friend and I are coming to Milan. Our flight leaves from Bergamo Airport at 6:25 a.m. Is it safe to take the bus from Centrale to the airport at night?

I would also like to ask whether it is safe to put luggage in the lower luggage compartment of the bus.
