Gemini is turning into absolute garbage—completely useless.
I asked just one question, and 25% of my 5-hour quota was immediately consumed (and I'm on a Pro subscription!). I honestly don't see the point of this anymore. I had just posted a rant complaining about its usage limits, but I hadn't actually used the tool yet. Now that I've tried it out: asking a single complex question eats up 25% of the quota, while running a "deep research" query consumes 70% in one go. After just two or three interactions, Gemini becomes completely unusable!
I understand that Google used to offer exceptional value for money, and that its usage limits have historically been very generous; however, that does not justify—nor does it excuse—the fact that they are now beginning to torment their paying customers. This leaves paying users feeling both angry and betrayed.
