14 month old sleep regression
Our 14 month old has been sleeping through the night for 3-4 months, but for the last month or so she has started rolling, standing, sitting, playing etc. in her crib for 2 HOURS!!! Before falling asleep. We used to just put a hand on her and within max 20 minutes, she would be asleep. She won’t let us hold her or touch her now, so it’s a constant fight of two hours of us laying her back down a million times, and her flipping out on us. If we don’t (almost) pin her down, she’ll continue playing for hours until she is overtired and miserable.
We haven’t changed our routines at all, but she did start daycare almost 2 months ago. She loves it there, but I know some of it is overstimulation from the daycare. Our routine is: after dinner we change into pyjamas, brush teeth and hair and all that. Then we go into bedroom where she drinks a bit of water, she gets her pacifier and teddy, we read a bedtime story and then lay her down, while one of us lie beside her bed.
I am not interested in CIO, but has anyone else experienced this and fixed it?
