Not the most expensive or rare but the single book with the strongest personal connection?
Mine is a copy of Lonesome Dove that was my mom's absolute favorite book. She's been gone a few years and it's now mine. When I'm gone it'll be my daughters.
I very much would like to read this article but can't justify another yearly membership.
Not a first printing but don’t care. Bought at brick and mortar book store so no mark up.

Ugh, I don't order a ton from TBB due to currency exchange rates and shipping costs to the US. I'm a new subscriber (specifically started for the Wool series) but I also have the Magician series as well as a few preorders that I'm still waiting for
(and you'd better believe I have an alarm already set for Lonesome Dove)
So I was so excited for the free shipping weekend. Ordered several things.
But, my John Gwynne Bloodsworn trilogy was supposedly delivered via USPS yesterday. I work from home and have cameras so I can verify that is absolutely was not delivered to my address.
And now come to find out there's no insurance. Kinda pissed at USPS but also found out there's no insurance... where are my books?
Submitted a missing mail request but don't expect a positive result.
Sorry for the rant... just upset for the monetary loss (not huge, I know... about $100) and was excited to get these.
Neither rare nor valuable but I don’t see many Hodder & Stoughton in my local So Cal thrift stores
