When feminists say men are naturally submissive what do they mean?
Hello so I was scrolling on TikTok and a popular video explains that men are naturally submissive creatures and thats why they created the patriarchy capitalism and the military.Women on the other hand are not despite the world trying to tell us that we are. I really took intrest in the video its popular and everyone is agreeing but I more have a question are they talking biologically or is it more the patriarchy frames men as dominant but the actions they do are submissive they just don’t realize it.Wouldn’t that be more of a case of the patriarchy backfiring then it being mens natural instinct?I was never able to figure out its a popular take I see all the time on social media but I get confused because I don’t know the biology of it all.Dominance and submission always confused me for example when men would say they are the dominant head of the house I would always look at their wifes and often times she had more dominant traits but people overlook it because shes a woman. Some people even say the nagging wife trope tends to show that albeit not strongly. So I wanted to ask about dominance and submission and how it works in terms with the patriarchy is it more of a social construct or a natural trait.Im sorry if this doesn’t make sense I don’t know how to phrase it well I hope this makes sense.
