I used to be completely against killing lowbies, and I even thought people who enjoyed it had some kind of mental issues. But after trying it myself, I have to admit it's actually a pretty fun way to chill in the game while listening to music and waiting for RHC.

Especially when you're playing a rogue (or any other DPS class) and stuck in the RHC queue for 15-20min. Running circles on top of the Orgrimmar bank roof gets boring really fast and feels like a waste of time. Ganking lowbies in questing zones makes the waiting time much more enjoyable.

Also many times Alliance PvPers come to help them too, which adds another layer of strategy as you have to avoid the geared PvPers while still trying to keep ganking the lowbies. It's simple, but honestly, it's a lot of fun.
