I’m just asking out of curiosity as I am interested to know the stories behind how other fans got into SOAD.

For me, my Dad showed me Chop Suey!, one of his favourite songs after I’d recently discovered rock music but at the time, I think I found Chop Suey! too aggressive sounding and extreme when compared to the other music I was listening too. A month or two later, I’d been starting to listen to metal music and hard rock a lot more and I stumbled across Chic N’ Stu and was like, okay, I quite like this. From there, I listened to every single SOAD song over the next few weeks and grew to love their music more and more and learnt a lot about the band members and the meanings behind the lyrics. They very quickly became my favourite band!

Im 15 and a big SOAD fan and since I’m on summer holiday, I’m bored and lonely and am pretty much trapped inside of my house. I was just wondering if anyone wanted to talk or anything and I figured I’d post here because we all like SOAD here and that’s something in common we can talk about.
