Hi everyone,

I recently got my results for the citizenship test and the certificate states my correct birth city (Seoul) but the wrong birth country (North Korea).

I caught and corrected this mistake already on the day of the test when we were asked to confirm our personal information (name, birthdate, birth place, address, etc.). When I opened my results, I was quite annoyed to see someone ignored my correction and still confused North Korea (Korea, Demokratische Volksrepublik) with South Korea (Korea, Republik).

How can I receive a revised version of this certificate for my citizenship application? I already emailed service@bamf.bund.de, but received no response.

Would appreciate any help!
