Free tickets available for MSO's Sensory Friendly Concert on May 31st
I am in possession of many (more than two dozen) tickets for the upcoming Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Sensory Friendly Concert on Sunday, May 31st. 2:30 PM at the Bradley Symphony Center. I got the tickets through my work-job.
If you’re unfamiliar, every year the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra holds a “sensory friendly” concert for “people of any age on the autism spectrum or with a sensory sensitivity and their families, but all are welcome.”
It’s basically a typical concert experience but they keep the house lights slightly illuminated, provide quiet fidgets and sensory things, and otherwise just cultivate an environment where people who might have a hard time keeping silent (tics etc.) are welcome to join and feel comfortable.
I'm hoping to give these tickets away to people who would enjoy this concert. As a music fan, I saw they’ll be playing some bangers including Beethoven’s 5th, the theme from Jaws, and highlights from Wicked among others.
If you would be interested in coming I would happily share the tickets I have. Send me a private message and we can work out the details.
