Grateful for fresh Guatemalan coffee!

Grateful for some delicious coffee this morning! Went to a local roaster and they had some freshly roasted Guatemalan beans, made the first cup this morning and it is so deliciously rich. Thanks to having a gratitude practice, I focused hard on the coffee and put aside the tiredness from not getting enough sleep. Why dwell on what I don’t have (enough rest) when I can reframe and focus my energy on what I DO have? Gratitude is life changing.

Budget is up to $1k per night, 2 adults, 3 kids age 16, 12, 2. Huge age gap (yes, late in life surprise haha) can be tricky when looking for a resort that will make everyone happy. We’re wanting lots of activities for the kids, nice beach, great food, and an all around high end feel. Moon Palace the Grand was recommended by several people and they allow 1 room for 5 people since the toddler can use a rollaway bed. The only downside I see is the sad beach situation, lots of seaweed and murky water. Is this the best all around for our situation? Dates are late July 2026.

THANK YOU for any insight!
