I made an app to organize your scans, and it's free!

As the title says, I released my app in beta today. It's free and helps you organize your scans, with both a Mac desktop app and an iPhone mobile app available.

I really need your feedback and would love to hear what you think. I hope you enjoy using it!

How do you organize your Instax scans?

Hi everyone, I've been a Polaroid/Instax photographer for a few years now, and I'm looking for a better way to organize my digital scans. I've actually been trying to build a system and I wanted to ask for your advice and see what you all do.

Right now, my workflow is pretty simple: I have my physical Polaroid albums and boxes full of photos, I scan them whenever I shoot, and I just keep them all inside a single folder on my computer.

What this workflow is missing is the ability to add metadata to photos, like a title, location, or shooting settings. Right now, to do that, I either have to use external software for regular photos or rely on the native app on my Mac, which keeps all that information but mixes those photos in with everything else.

I'd love to know how you all manage your scans and photos. Do you use archives, organize them in albums, or just keep them in boxes? How do you handle your scanning workflow?

Thank you so much!

Instant Link Is finally in public beta - Digitalize your Polaroids with NFC

Hello!
I hope I’m not being annoying, but I just want to share a free tool currently in public beta on iOS.
As shown in the previous post, the goal of Instant Link is to give everyone a quick way to retrieve a digital version of a Polaroid.

Feedback is very important to me, so I’d really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you might have.

After an year since the original post, I made the app to attach an NFC tag to Polaroid pictures so people can quickly access a digital version of the photo.

Hello! I’m so excited to share my new app/experiment. I’m the guy that made this post one year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Polaroid/comments/1m7yuvn/i_attached_an_nfc_tag_to_my_polaroid_so_people/

The goal was to give everyone a quick way to retrieve a digital version of my Polaroid. After some tests I decided to make an app out of it (I would love to do a website but an app is needed to write on an NFC).

How does it work? Well that’s very easy: just choose your format (currently only Polaroid and Instax mini), upload your scans or scan it within the app, link it to an NFC. Done!

I’m also launching the first public beta on iOS to collect all the feedback and polish the whole app. Please let me know if you want to be in it!

For Admins: The app is free and it’s an experiment and a personal project, please don’t ban my post :)
