Wanted to get into the Halloween spirit!

Pattern: Postmortem Doily by Ann Wanamaker. I followed her free YouTube tutorial.
Thread: DMC Perlé Cotton Size 12, colour 437
Hook: 1mm

First time using such a small thread and hook, it was a little difficult but I love the results! Tempted to make more (especially one in black), but I’m not so keen on getting back to that 1mm hook 😅 this is also blocked, which has given it a lovely drape! Hoping to find the perfect frame for it soon.

Cardigan coming out smaller. Best way to move forward?

Still fairly new to knitting. I (stupidly) didn’t do a gauge swatch and now mine’s measuring smaller. I know I’m a tight knitter and crocheter, I should’ve taken that into account too.

The yoke is meant to measure 15cm, mine’s 12.5cm. The sleeve is coming out a bit shorter too (I have 4 rows left, but it still won’t be enough), but the width is correct (10cm). Do I just add more rows to reach the right length? Or does the yoke being smaller affect everything too much?

I guess my question is: do I continue doing exactly as the pattern says in terms of row counts and hope it’ll just fit a younger child, or something else?
Thank you!
