It was a Pokemon fanfic I read back in the early to late 2000s as a young teenager. All I can remember was that the main character was a female shiny Flygon who had a human disguise but was born in a lab. I believe her name was either Skye or Skylar and I know she traveled with a male human companion. Her father was also a scientist at said lab and was killed trying to help her escape. Been trying to look for this off an on for years now with no luck.
