Hi guys, long time lurker here. We are wanting to apply for our spouse visa soon and might have hit a little snag. My rental agency has confirmed that they are able to write a letter for my husband stating that granted he has his spouse visa approved he will be allowed at the property as a permitted occupier. However my contract still states single occupancy. Do you think they will flag this as an issue? Or will they accept a letter?

We obviously don’t want to spend the application fees to get rejected over this. The landlord isn’t open to amending the contract until he has his visa
