Amber depression glass. My first one.
Found at a thrift store for a few dollars. I fell in love immediately as I collect colored glass especially amber, yellow and orange. Looks lovely with a few plants. What do you think

I could die happy if I ever found one of these. Not only are they beautiful but a bit sentimental. My great aunt who I miss dearly and raised me when my mom couldn't, had one in the bedroom I stayed in and I would just watch the oil drip and it was mesmerizing. Could never pay what I'm finding online..maybe one day
Since starting my new hobby a few months ago I've been on the hunt for real Crystal glasses. Which hasn't been as easy as I thought. I researched how to tell crystals from glass and it paid off!!
They were $1 a piece. Two big and two small. I bought all four but one broke during transport, (I was so upset and now I'm going to refigure how to transport fragile things) of course I did a little research as I love learning about the treasures I find. Pretty cool info.
1940-1960 Italian vintage daffodil art piece! I knew when I spotted it that it was going to be something special. Picked it up and it was heavy, dirty and obviously old. Had a few chipped petals (later learned that was common even back when they were popular) I turned it over to see the markings I've remember from researching and l knew this is something great. AND. .It was 4.99!! It goes great with some other pieces I have and also my mom loved daffodils so it was a bit symbolic.I did a little research when I got home and was quite pleased with what I've read. I'm so in love with and is a great addition to my new hobby/collection of vintage pieces
She was everything I thought she'd be. It raining during some of the best songs, will be a lifetime memory!!
But I didn't have the best fest experience this year. Maybe it was the extremely huge crowd and the heat but so many people were rude. People are usually kind , understanding you need to cross through their spot. The shoulder pushing and the disregard for lines was ridiculous. A frat bit told me to shut up when I asked that he not block the traffic to pour his buddies shots. The show was great but that was it. I am thankful for the family that let us squeeze in their spots. That was nice.
