Salvation Army haul after dropping my kid off at school

$38 after coupons, discounts and rewards. The find that surprised me the most is that wooden toy picked out by my toddler resells for $40-$50! Who knew! Got it for $3.50 and it entertains him. the shirt looks hand embroidered, couldn’t leave it behind…aforementioned toddler can wear it on July 4, 2036

Picked up four boxes of science fiction, fantasy, horror and mystery paperback books for free via Craigslist

These were listed in the Craigslist free section as being on the sidewalk in San Francisco. Wasn't sure they'd be there as I'm about a 30 minute drive away but glad I took the chance. Lots of cool titles and cover art. Some condition issues on some but definitely worth the price! More images available here

Went in for a tea set, left with a vintage Dooney instead lol

Went in for one thing and one thing only, and left with the best find EVER and never got the "one" thing I went in for LOL. Found this monogrammed vintage Dooney & Bourke with lime green trim for $6, in great condition! Anyone else get weirdly emotional over thrift finds or just me?

Vintage 1970’s Stoneware Plates

Found these beauties from a local thrift store today. I see them marked up at vintage consignment stores, but I haven’t seen any in the wild until today. My grandma had the predominantly brown set. I know these plates have seen so many meals, and they’re washed and put in my cupboard just waiting to see another meal. I got 7 of the brown dinner plates, 7 of the same pattern dessert plates, then 4 of the others for $44.
