This was originally a lava lamp. I converted it to glitter because I knew it would look better. 🌈✨
Several months ago I bought this green/pink color combo on sale at Spencer’s with the intention on using the globe for experiments, which I did, but that left me with this extra hot pink pearlescent base and cap. Then I found the pink/black base one today at another Spencer’s and paired the pink/clear globe with the extra pink base I had lying around, and the rest is history. 💖
It’s not as obvious in this picture because I used the flash so you could see the caps and bases on these three, but it’s hazier than I’d expect a brand new lava lamp to be. Guess that always seems to be an issue with black lava.
These used to be plentiful and suddenly all the listings for these on Amazon are “currently unavailable.”
I’m having to buy e12 candelabra based 25w salt lamp bulbs and e17-to-e12 socket adapters to keep my 20oz lava lamps going. This is not good.
