Alternatives to test sore feet and ankles
I have been a vivobarefoot wearer for a couple of years - they are all I wear now (bar one pair of Lems which I wear very occasionally).
I have been having some feet ankle and leg pain and want to know if the shoes have anything to do with it. I also have rheumatoid arthritis so pain is quite normal for me but I am beginning to wonder if different shoes would be better. The problem is I can't bear any narrow shoes and I really love the feeling of vivo. Particularly Forest ESC and Magna ESC (I think that's what the second pair are called - esc sole, knitted ankle).
What kind of shoes shall I try as an alternative to vivo to see if a little more support helps at all? My preference is 'hiking' type shoes/boots and I normally walk on trails/grass etc. Rather than pavements.
I got rid of my pre-barefoot shoes - keens and meindl wide fit - as both felt too narrow now.
Thanks
