Is it odd that agents from CarMax called me from numbers that TrueCaller identified as “Star Hurst” and “United Online I,” both from numbers that started with (312) 205? I am having a car shipped for me through the CarMax website and I did apply online to see if I was pre-qualified, so the calls were not out of the blue. I have just been scammed before and I’m terrified of it reoccurring, and I don’t like giving my social security # over the phone etc. The email address that says my credit was approved is from CarMax@email-carmax.com. Thank you!
