I've travelled through different parts of the Himalayas, and one thing that stands out about Bhutan is that the experience doesn't seem to be only about the destinations.

It's the combination of:

Traditional culture that is still part of everyday life

Mountain roads where the journey itself becomes memorable

Modern development existing alongside forests, villages, monasteries and traditional architecture

And perhaps the most interesting part is the pace. Bhutan doesn't always feel like a place where you have to rush from one attraction to another.
