Is my evidence enough?
I am strongly considering bringing my husband to court. He has raped me multiple times over the course of our relationship, at least 5 times. I will be going into details so please stop reading if it is too triggering.
The first week we met, he got me so drunk that I blacked out. When I came to, he was on top of me. Apparently he'd been going at it for hours. When he moved in with me there were two instances where he "slipped" up my anus. One of these times resulted in me bleeding. He once was fingering me in both my vagina and anus and caused heavy bleeding. I passed these incidents off as mistakes. When we finally got married, a few months after we were having anal intercourse, it started to hurt so I said "wait" since I needed lube. He kept going until he finished.
As a result, I admitted myself into the psych unit at the local hospital and gave my account, I did not go to the police as I worried about legal repercussions for him. He is the main source of income to our house and I was scared of losing that.
3 months after that hospital stay, we were drinking and being intimate. He had me pushed against the couch and we were doing it vaginally. He then put his hand over my mouth, and started to line up with my anus. He then kept saying "I'm going in your ass" repeatedly. He didn't, only because he finished before he could. During that attempt I scrapped my head on the wall and had a good two or three inches of skin taken off.
I have reported these instances to my therapist and had another stay in the hospital where I said everything and that I was finally considering divorce. I have since gotten copies of my reports to my therapist and the hospital that I am hiding for safe keeping. I have come to the conclusion he needs to be arrested and put away so he never does this to another woman. If anyone can tell me if these documents are enough, please let me know. I am so sorry if I have triggered anyone but I need advice and to tell my story.
