Prioritize inner peace first and always

And I mean every single moment, everyone you can recall to do it. Find a mental technique (not external, like the spa) that reliably brings you closer to inner peace or straight to inner peace, and then only ever choose to do that thing with your consciousness. If it stops working, the priority is to find some other mental technique that does it, and many times, it just stops working because the current conditions require more practice. It’s endless practice. You may end up doing other things because you forget, and that’s fine, but then back to it, no matter what, no matter how people respond or the consequences for doing so, no matter how extreme the consequences for doing so.

I talk to people about this a lot and in this world, especially American society, this seems pretty unpopular, so there you go.
