R6 extremely hot when coming off track
Hey guys, I recently picked up a 2015 R6 track bike and it's having an issue with temps. Today, when coming off track, it spiked up to over 250° and would not come down until I turned it off. It's also puking coolant from the overflow.
This is my second weekend out with it. Last weekend, I was having mostly the same problem, except it was also running too hot on track (over 210° while moving). I tried remediating by removing the thermostat and fans (I know the lack of fans is why it doesn't cool down quickly), which did fix my heat issue while moving, but now it's way too hot when coming off. Before I made any changes, the hottest I saw was around 245° but it cooled down quickly.
In general I'm having issues managing heat and have so far: -Flushed coolant including burping all the lines -Replaced radiator cap (tried both 1.1 and 1.8 BAR) -Deleted the thermostat -Removed the fans (will reinstall)
At this point I'm running out of ideas for what to look for. The bike does have a reflashed ECU (done by M Works? I can't find any info on them), is it possible that may be making it run hot? If anyone has any ideas for what I should try next, I'm all ears.
