Byzantium should have a league in the Italian Wars Situation

Byzantium being present in the Italian Wars situation for EU5 honestly makes a lot of sense, even if it’s only as a weakened regional player... (Provided they win the Fate of the Phoenix of course). The Ottomans had limited involvement in the Italian Wars sure, but a resurgent ERE that just reconquered Anatolia (or Egypt for some of you tryhards) should absolutely have some involvement in this period. Gameplay-wise it's the perfect jumping point for a byz to reconquer the region and restore Rome and satisfy all of our Roman Empire wet dreams.

The situation is already built pretty perfectly to slot them in. I can see it being flavoured around retained imperial claims over parts of southern Italy and the old Roman sphere with a few Dynamic events linked to the reconquest of Griko lands. Mechanically, that creates another league with reconquest and restoration of Rome casus belli mechanics in addition to the condottieri/existing mechanics.

Maybe I'm out to lunch, but I planned my campaign around using this situation to launch an Italian invasion and I was pretty disappointed that it never fired... Though I guess moving my capital to the region could also work but that defeats the purpose

Let me know what you think
