Family Worker confused on SW School Psych or School Counselor

I just started as a family worker this 25-26 school year so I could finally get my foot through DOE door. I also have one semester left for my bachelors. But I am so lost on what to get my masters in. Originally I just wanted to do school counseling I loved everything I read about it. But I also read that it is very difficult to get a job and I would be stuck with only that option for work opportunities. I started looking into Social Work which I loved that option the most because I could have more opportunities incase I'm not finding work in a school right away. But I am 36 with a family to support and honestly tired of all the schooling. I just don't see how it's possible to do a Social Work internship with a family to provide for, I started looking at School Psychology because it was less hours required than social work and I know its not a guarantee but atleast the DOE offers a paid internship for school psych. But my heart isn't exactly set on being a school psych and I am back to school counselor. But I want to make the best decision if I am going to go through with a masters program. Is school counseling really that hard to get a position?
