I wish bots played with ANY sense of self preservation..

You can beat 5 Expert bots with no trouble on advanced maps because they're so dumb that they slam numbers for no good reason with no attempt to preserve their own. This makes them in-authentic to practice against, and this is obviously really annoying in multiplayer. I just hate that bots ALWAYS break your bonus and will stack on your borders SOLEY for that intention, the only way to avoid it is to keep stacking higher making you vulnerable to actual skilled players. Like even if i have just one troop guarding my bonus, with a 100 stack next to it, the bot will break you and not expect retaliation after opening the 100 stack. Hope this changes or they are more customisable in the future, but I won't hold my breath lol.

Emote spammers are the worst wow

THANK F**K there is a mute button. Idk why people just spam laughing emotes whenever something bad happens to a player they dislike. Probs mobile players.

How often do gems/Advanced Maps go on sale?

Want to practice more on the advanced maps (mostly Europe advanced) since its 2nd most popular map and like to save money where i can. Is it worth waiting for maps to go on sale?

How long did it take you guys to "get good"?

I try and play Risk for fun, it's become my ritual to play late in the afternoon almost every night. And while I enjoy the game, I suck. Miserably. I think I'm on a 30+ lose streak and only just breach into intermediate on my good days. Sometimes I make mistakes in games and I can laugh it off, but it really gets to me when I repeat them.

I think I've basically mastered (most) of the free maps on fixed and progressive, but when I try to escape my comfort zone with Capital Conquest, Fog of War, and the Advanced Maps I just make the stupidest plays and I feel like I ruin the game for everyone. I enjoy playing both casually and competitively, I guess I'm trying to figure out if I've reached my peak skill level or if I'm lacking a sort of natural talent/problem solving skills to get better at Risk.

Edit: Forgot to mention I've been playing for about a year.

Any mods known for having a bug that makes your game refuse to save and close the game?

Using Mod Organiser2 with all the latest versions of core mods installed properly. In total i have 190 mods installed (most of which are cosmetic) and should have no effect on the game saving. Have no idea what triggers it (maybe quests) but everything online to fix or at least remedy the game not allowing autosave, manual save or closing the game is super inconsistent. Any ideas at all would be nova. thx
