Any mods known for having a bug that makes your game refuse to save and close the game?

Using Mod Organiser2 with all the latest versions of core mods installed properly. In total i have 190 mods installed (most of which are cosmetic) and should have no effect on the game saving. Have no idea what triggers it (maybe quests) but everything online to fix or at least remedy the game not allowing autosave, manual save or closing the game is super inconsistent. Any ideas at all would be nova. thx

REDScript compilation error, but mods seem to be working?

I have a ton of mods listed with the error since I’m “missing“ TweaksXL and Codeware… but they’re both there. I’ve reinstalled them, and the game seems to load fine after closing out the error. This Is after having zero issues previously.

I tested a few of the listed mods — I figure if Consunable Animations worked, that’s a good sign. it did. NCR as a whole seems to be working.

Can I just ignore it…? Any ideas on fixing it aside from a reinstall?

I built a free Cyberpunk 2077 VR Companion — profiles, tuning, Smart Launch, diagnostics & more

TL;DR: I built a free Windows companion app for Cyberpunk 2077 VR that detects your hardware/VR environment, creates graphics profiles, helps tune settings, handles VR/flatscreen switching, checks your installation for problems, and simplifies launching/troubleshooting. v1.1.0 is now public.

Over the last week or so I’ve been using iPowerTech’s fork of the Cyberpunk VR port, primarily with a Quest 3 + Virtual Desktop/VDXR setup.

While getting everything configured, I kept running into the same problem: Cyberpunk VR can be incredible once it’s working, but maintaining the setup involves a lot of manual configuration, troubleshooting and settings management.
What started as a few scripts for my own setup gradually turned into a full Windows application:
Cyberpunk VR Companion

The goal is to make the VR setup easier to configure, tune, launch and recover when something goes wrong.

Current features include:
Automatic Cyberpunk installation + hardware/HMD/OpenXR detection
Automatic backup of your existing graphics settings
Performance, Balanced, Ray Tracing and Clarity reference profiles
Profile editing with sliders, toggles and selectors
Hardware compatibility analysis
Assisted Tuning
Smart VR Launch with launch-readiness checks/repair
VR ↔ Flatscreen switching
Health Check + diagnostic tools
Community profile import/export
OpenXR stereo startup presentation inside the headset
One feature I particularly wanted was the VR / Flatscreen switcher. Some Cyberpunk scenes don’t translate cleanly into VR because of things like gaze detection, scripted camera positioning or 2D interactions. Instead of manually removing the VR port, you can exit the game, switch to flatscreen through the Companion, complete the section, save, then switch straight back to VR.

About the VR port
My primary development/testing environment has been iPowerTech’s Cyberpunk VR port fork:
https://github.com/iPowerTech/cyberpunk-vr-port
The Companion does not include or redistribute the VR port. It’s a separate third-party project, and users should get the VR port working first.
Other configurations may work as well — I just don’t want to claim they’re validated until people actually test them.

v1.1.0
The first public version is available here:
GitHub:
https://github.com/SaveTheLlama/CyberpunkVRCompanion

Release:
https://github.com/SaveTheLlama/CyberpunkVRCompanion/releases/tag/v1.1.0

The app is free to use. The current build is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may display an Unknown Publisher warning. A SHA-256 checksum is included with the release for verification.

This is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CD PROJEKT RED, iPowerTech, or the other projects it works alongside.

I originally built this because I wanted a better way to manage my own VR setup, but once it became a proper application I figured it could be useful to other Cyberpunk VR players too.

This is the first public release, so I’d genuinely like feedback from people with different GPUs, headsets and VR configurations. Bugs, detection problems, profile feedback and feature ideas are all welcome through GitHub.

I’m also recording a full walkthrough tomorrow covering why I started the project, how it went from a few scripts to the current app, the functionality, development process, and some of the ideas I have for future updates.

First person Mods

Hello!

I’m using mods for the first time, and while looking for mods that improve the first-person view, I’ve seen a few, but I don’t understand how they differ or which one might be better.

The mods are:

Immersive First Person v2.0 - Native Height and Camera Rework

True First Person Camera 2.0

Shift (Dynamic First Person Camera)

Could you help me understand how these mods differ from each other, or which one you would recommend? Thank you!!

How does the "Armor Up" mods by Phoenicia4 actually work? The descriptions aren't very good unfortunately

I've just installed this mod into current playthrough of mine (20 hours in), and I am utterly confused as to how this mod actually functions. I have read and then re-read the descriptions a few times and still it's vague.
Can anyone give me a proper rundown / understanding of how the mod works?

What pants are these?

I’ve been looking for these pants i saw on an image for hours with absolutely no luck. I know that the Cyberdeck is in the image, but i mean the pants underneath. I’m probably asking for too much but i’m just hoping there’s someone who might know what mod this is. If anyone can help that would be amazing.

Welcome to Noght City - health problem

EDIT SOLVED: It was 'Appearance Menu Mod'. This is NOT a mod within WtNC, but 99% of my mods came from there, so I didn't even think it worth mentioning. I don't know how it was AMM, as it isn't supposed to mess with the player character and just used for spawning entities in photo mode, but it solved the problem anyway. Additionally, after I sorted it out I realized I could hardly move and thought I had swapped it out for another bug. If this also happens to you, don't panic. This bug seemingly maxes out your carry capacity too, so you're just overweight. Had to laugh at myself when I noticed

Hi folks, apologies if I missed a previous post on this. Had a browse and couldn’t find anything. I’m having an issue with a mod within the Welcome to Night City collection, but I don’t know which one it is and can’t seem to pin it. Pretty much, I seem to be invincible. The HP to the right of my health bar reads a negative value, I thought it went further negative when i took damage, but It doesn't actually move at all, I'm not quite sure what does make it change.

I’ve had a look through my mod settings ingame and can’t find anything, had a scan over the mods within the collection also to no avail, but I’m gonna start the process of systematically working through them now. In the event I solve this before someone else comes along I’ll edit with a solution and leave it up for others. Thanks in advance chooms

EDIT: Attached pic. I also went back several saves to see if there was any difference - none. The number displayed was even identical

I feel like overly modded games are too easy.

Been playing since launch and need some mod suggestions that greatly increase difficulty

Project 2077 vs. Welcome to Night City vs. City of Dreams vs. Ultraviolence

I just finished the game for the first time and want to overhaul my next run with a modpack. I've narrowed it down to four options: Project 2077, Welcome to Night City, City of Dreams, and Ultraviolence.

What are the main pros/cons of each, and which one would you recommend for someone new to Cyberpunk modpacks?
