A few days ago I started a cyberpunk playthrough with vortex. And for some reason over half the mods I installed didn’t show up in game. So I tried uninstalling all the mods via vortex, quit managing the game and then manually installed every mod I had in that save.

When I went to play it today the game was acting as if I had absolutely no mods installed at all. I genuinely don’t know how to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am picking up where I left off last year, and I'm hoping to increase and better stabilize my FPS. I have 288 mods installed, and after trying several other workarounds, I'm chalking up the FPS issues to the number of mods.

Are there any more efficient methods than creating backups and manually disabling mods one-by-one to see if they affect my save file?

I love this game. It's awesome. The gameplay is some of the best in an open world RPG I've ever played.

I've always wanted to push the graphics however much I can with my settings, but I'm a little frustrated...You see, I have an Nvidia RTX 3060 with 12 GB of VRAM, and 32 GB of DDR5 which I luckily purchased before the dark dark days of the AI Krash.

I try to find settings via Youtube and Reddit to use based on my GPU. I'll find videos specifically using an RTX 3060, and when they show 70+ FPS, I'll copy the exact settings they have, and get ~40-50 FPS. This is doubly frustrating because I even turned RT and PT off, and I'm on 1080p.

I have mods installed and that could play a role, but I don't think I have any that actually affect performance in terms of graphics. Is there something I'm missing? I've been trying to figure this out for a long time. No matter what I do, despite even sometimes having better specs than the recommended settings have, my frame rates are always lower.

I've considered trying out NCR (mod collection), but I meet the recommended settings and with my experience when it comes to performance (where the game either looks like radio static shit or it looks decent but runs like ass), I'm hesitant to try it. Is there something I'm not considering that can be worsening my performance? I'm prepared to uninstall any mods that might be worsening performance aside from gameplay ones. I just want to figure this out to have a smooth experience with the game.

I have both the mods and the game installed on a 1TB NVME SSD.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor (4.70 GHz)

RAM: DDR5 32 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB)

This is the mod collection.

Core Temps:

• Minimum Temps: 69 degrees celsius
• Max Temps: 84 degrees celsius
• Average Temps: 78 degrees celsius

With all this, I get ~40-50 FPS.

I really wanna have hacked cyberware and infinite levels and money, can anyone help me find anyway that doesn't put my console at risk (I have mad USBs)

I installed the Welcome to Night City collection, it's all game play, big fixes and immersion.

I want some cosmetic mods. I've tried some of the new rigs like EBBRB and Angel body. It seems like they have make-up/facial features built in so I have double eyebrows or stacking make-up. Do y'all have recommendations on what to do/how to fix this?

Second is clothes. Seems like most of the Atelier Shops kind of blow immersion, and/or are super gooner. I'm playing as Fem V, so kind of sexy is good, but I also don't wanna be galavanting around NC in lace lingerie. Any recommendations for shops is appreciated.

EDIT: These recommendations are great, thank you! For context, I'm going to play Net Runner and dive into PL as soon as it's available. The role play is kind of a corrupted Lucy build. Obvs quick hacking, but also lots of Monowire. I found a mod that'll let me put the black wall quick hacks on the monowire. So I can either stealth hack or zip around whipping black wall into my enemies.

So, I'm looking for a leather or latex high waisted bodysuit and mini shorts. Thigh high boots, anything mox related or anything with led/light strips. Sexy net running suit, anything that fits the vibe.

Greetings, been playing cyberpunk for a while now and it’s my favourite game, lately I’ve been trying different playstyles and build but I end up always cutting my runs short because I just love going loud to encounters.

So wanting to freshen up my runs I want to get into modding, my system specs are:
AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d, nvidia RTX 5070Ti and 32Gb Ram(ddr5 if it matters)
I currently play with every visual option maxed, path tracing, with frame gen and play between 100 to 150 fps with 2K resolution, I like it this way.

I’m not quite sure yet what mods I’ll want, but certainly customization, immersion, gameplay(either balancing or changes) and possibly graphic changes too.

I am not used to modding games, so my questions are:
- will I have to lower graphics to stay above 100fps?
- do graphics mods affect performance too much/is there mods that help with that?
- can I play on precious save files?
- if I remove mods that I played in a save file does they ruin the file/can I play on the same save with or without mods?

I’ll figure how to set up the mods by myself, any help with these concerns is appreciated!

I have equipment EX and the expansion but I want four arm slots for cyberware so I can every arm mod at once, is there an expansion that does this because currently I can only use two

I've made a Reddit account just to ask this because Im genuinely so confused. I used to use vortex mod manager to mod cyberpunk but it’s just stopped working as of late and I have no idea how to fix it. none of the things I’ve done to try and fix it seemed to work so long story short I want to manually mod my game, if anyone could explain how that would be nice. I tried to follow a yt tutorial but when I loaded the game none of my mods were working. 💔

also please keep in mind I know nothing about modding or computer’s, so if you could explain it to me like I was born yesterday that would be helpful

Today, i finally bought Cyberpunk 2077 base game on steam. I played a pirated version of the game with the DLC (the original Steam version doesn't have it). I didn't even load the save file. I just deleted it, closed the game, and went ahead and to install the mods. I wanted to play it with mods But now, it doesn't work! i followed the exact steps of this video.
but now, my game is completely bricked! it doesn't even reach the title screen. at first, I tried to just slip the mod inside the ''mod'' folder. It didn't work, so i tried just deleting it and boot it up. It still didn't work.

I imagine it's because of the mod folders in the video, but after copying them inside the game folder, i don't know which of them is it. i'm afraid of deleting the base game essential files.

Then, i tried uninstalling and installing the game, but it didn't work too. The game remain broken. I don't even care about the mods at this point, i just want to play the game. Please, can someone help me?

I set up everything, including the visual c prerequisite, but no matter what key I press, the UI doesn't open.
