Vision of Europe after Catharsis (Part 1)
EUROPE AFTER CATHARSIS:
The world of Europe is nothing short of a nightmare, before and after the Catharsis. 20% of Europe's population has died off, many of its cities are living more then its people. A technological, desolate hellhole is the only way to describe modern Europe. Survivors often find themselves walking through empty cities that shift, monitor, and work, but never anything alive in sight. An eerie silence can be heard across the continent, as bodies cover smaller cities, fog above covering up the sky, and the overall since of something dying when this all went down. Factions rise, factions fall, but it would not be an exaggeration to say EUROPE IS CURRENTLY DEAD.
The Horde (Pseudo-Thanatism): The Hordes of the Catharsis, or what remains of those shattered by the chaos. They scatter Europe, in particularly less populated areas, as such areas often lack the leadership the people of the Catharsis needed, so they were left in the anarchist zones, left to stroll mindlessly until the chip in their head ripped away whatever they used to call themselves, whatever they thought they were. These are shells of humanity, only flesh and machine, nothing left to call human. The colonies aren't united, they aren't intelligent, they aren't anything anymore, just a sad reminder of the Worlds Government worse crimes against the people of Europe. Once in a while, they will tear at surrounding strongholds of humanity, clawing and screaming away in muscle-memory of what they did in the Catharsis. The cities are alive, the cameras are alive, the machines are alive but the population isn't. Lights are on, but nobody is home.

Iberia:
The Faithful of CR7 (Para-social Fundamentalists): Circus and bread, one of the many tools of the World Government, one of its many circuses being the European love of football and its game, and nobody was better at Football then CR7, or better known as Cristiano Ronaldo, at least in the eyes of his followers. Forgetting their religion, the people of Portugal took worship of who they could recognise, the one that genuinely entertained them during times of fake happiness and brain-washing, remembering his greatness on the field and generosity to his fans. That can only lead them to conclude he was the greatest, and that there will never be anyone on the level of CR7. The Faithful of CR7 take his worship into law, and to anyone that doubts his greatness or puts one above him, they are condemned to death by the Faithful.
The Spanish State (Post-Dialogic Nihilism): The Catharsis has awaken the Spanish people to the 'The Truth'. The Truth is all encompassing, it is never wrong, it will never be wrong, in any situation the truth is applied, the truth proves itself correct once again. The World Government used this Truth but would never allow others to acknowledge it. The Truth is that you need to impose your will through violence, for the sake of control and to prove yourself as the one that leads. There is no time for debate, bureaucracy or anything of the sort, especially post-Catharsis when the continent is high off violence.
The Revolt Against Heaven (Aeonic Revanchism): "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?" — Epicurus
This quote has never been more true to the people of Spain. The World Government has been a force of evil this world has never seen before, releasing the greatest suffering many would say hasn't been seen since Nazi Germany. This world is plagued by so much evil and pain, that it cannot be deliberate. There has to be a creator, and this creator is no God worth praising. The people have declared to destroy your flesh is to destroy the pain that has been inflicted on you, to revolt against the God of this world.
Naval Command of the W.G (Order): The Navy of the World Government remains loyal to the 'peace' Klause Schwab and the World Government brought, its humanities fault for its own chaos. If they just accepted the rule of Order, Purity and Capital, everything would be so much better off. The same mistake won't be made again, the World Government will be re-established and it will be totalitarian then ever. But for now, the Naval Command will remain supporting World Government strong-holds or World Government affiliated groups that emerged from the Catharsis. The Naval Command for now will retain the islands it has under its control in the Mediterranean sea and costal ports.

West Europe (France and the United Kingdom):
United Nations Humanitarian Effort (Centrism): The United Nations has made an effort to cull the chaos of Europe, by landing in the West of France and setting up a refuge for all that wish to escape the post-Catharsis chaos. However, deep within the U.N.H.E, WEF influence stirs, leading to a possible take-over of the effort and re-instating of a World Government stronghold (Purity) on the vulnerable trying to flee its influence, leaving the refugees to suffer its control once again.
The Motherhood (Maternal Despotism): To the west of Europe, in what was once called France, lays the Motherhood. The Orwellian Matriarch brough stability to the land, despite the totalitarianism they call their kindness. In the capital, Paris, lays MOTHER. Nobody has seen MOTHER in person, but the party ensures she is real, and she is kind, and she loves all her children. When someone speaks out against the party, they are silenced not with an iron fist, but with a gentle hand. Aren't you tired of chaos? Let MOTHER take care of you, you have been through so much already. MOTHER doesn't want to hurt you, MOTHER wants to see you finally rest. Do not resist, for MOTHER loves you.
The Commonwealth (Purity): When the Catharsis started, England was in utter chaos, ideological extremism morphed, shaped, and shifted into many different ways, but ultimately, people got sick of it. Military leaders, judges, and W.G politicians took control and painted the island red of anyone fighting against the W.G, 8 million of the English population to be exact. Now, purity reigns England, and the brain-chips that failed will never fail again. Once again, England is under control.
The Wigs of the North (Revolutionary Aristocracy): The workers had gotten tired of what happened to them, so they ripped apart and ate the rich whenever they could find it. But only a few weeks and months of the Catharsis, they found themselves sitting in the nice homes of who they ripped apart, eating the same food their oppressors ate, and ultimately becoming the oppressors themselves, or a crude imitation of them, doing what they think the elite did. These people had no idea of wat was fancy or nice or anything, just making up their own fantasy that they are the ones at the top now, trying to make themselves feel superior for what they went through, at the cost of who they were meant to lead to a better society.
Haven of the Enlighten (Capital): With the fall of the World Government, so too would the economy, which can't be said is a shock. So those enriched by World Governments rule took their wealth to the former island nation of Ireland and established their little 'Utopia' in the ruins of the Catharsis, in which they can continue their operations, World Government or not.
United Man (Anthropocentric Humanism): The World Government showed that they held humans in little value, and whatever value they did hold, it was for the value of their labour and tools as the living beings we are. They mistreated the greatest species on Earth and used it for their own goals. Well no more, United Man has taken the former grace of humanity and promise to all homosapiens that the crimes against man will be no more. This faction is a member of the Human Liberation Front.
The Earthling Collective (Anthropocentric Humanism/Cosmic Escapism): Similar to United Man, but with the difference of its factions within its organisations. One calls themselves the Earths Front-tier, the other calls themselves the Interstellar race. Earth's Front-tier wants humans to remain on earth and liberate the planet from all the pain it inflicts upon itself, while the Interstellar Race wishes to leave the planet to expand humanity into the stars to save itself, as they believe Earth has proven itself too hostile for humanity. Both root for human supremacy, just in different ways, so they work together for now. This faction is a member of the Human Liberation Front.
The Human Reign (Anthropocentric Humanism): Once again, human supremacy has proven to be one of the most popular factions in the ideological and system collapse of the World Government, as humans are sick of humans suffering, and not many have suffered more then the victims of the World Government. There is a faction of Pacificists that subscribe to Post-Traumatic Pacificism that wish to not engage in anything more fighting, for the sake of their fellow humans, but its hard to adopt such ideas, especially with such a blatant insult that is the institution of the East, the World Government Reclamation Order. This faction is a member of the Human Liberation Front.
The World Government Reclamation Order (Order): The World Government holds itself up by broken pillars, a former shell of the superpower it once was. Human nature has proven itself to be the greatest threat of this world, as it destroyed the closest this world has come to world peace. No matter, the WEF hold steady, the World Government Revanchist regime is running on the anger of its embarrassment and anger towards human nature. The World Government will be re-established, and this time? Security will be implemented ten-fold, so another Catharsis will never happen again.
The Omni-directional Revolution (Carnal Collectivism): CURSED ARE THE CAPITALISTS, MONSTERS AND TYRANTS OF THE WORLD! THEY CONDEMNED THE MASSES AND PUT THEM THROUGH THE WORST HORROS OF HISTORY! WHERE ARE THEIR HEARTS?! JUST AS GUILTY ARE ALL WHO FIGHT OUR MOVEMENT, THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN THIS WORLD! DEATH TO THE OPPERSSORS, DEATH TO THE SYMPATHISERS, DEATH TO THE COMPLIENT, AND DEATH TO THE NEUTRAL! IF YOU AREN'T WITH US, YOU ARE AGAINST US AND WHOEVER IS AGAINST US WILL BE KILLED FOR OUR REVOLUTION!
The Swiss Economic Zone (Capital): Catharsis? Who cares! Switzerland remains untouched, and we are still profiting. The outside world are nothing but cavemen, they can try to invade us but they are ultimately cavemen compared to us, they will never be able to enter the mountain country. So for now, we will keep profiting from the chaos and oppressing people still under us.
The Workers Kingdom (Revolutionary Aristocracy): Similar to the wigs of the North, the difference being the leaders of its 'revolution' had stumbled upon the concept of kings and monarchy. So a king was established, one for the 'workers' and socialism. Of course, the ideas are incompatible, but they will keep playing up the idea of a 'revolutionary king' for the sake of stability and rule.
The Company (Corporate Tribalism): At the start of the Catharsis, the first to fall was the major companies, either driven off the continent or completely dismantled by the the horde of the Catharsis. Smaller and lesser ones however, manged to slip through the cracks of the Catharsis chaos as people got more mad and made to eventually committing their chaos for the sake of it. As the whole country fell to factionalism, these smaller and lesser ones formed into one faction and took control of North Italy.
The Warrior State (Warrior Occultism): The chaos of the Catharsis had left the Italian people confused, delusional, and downright crazy, so when came the time of establishing a new order, they looked to the past. To a time when Italy was stable and one, and they found Rome. So in order to create a new stability for its people, they established what once was, and amplified it to all hell. In the faction, there are those delusional of a Roman Empire dream, calling themselves the Latin Warriors (Racial Apotheosis) believing Rome wasn't an Empire for its culture, but for its divine people.

The Nordic:
The Court (Post-Dialogic Nihilism): Despite its name, the court is anything but for civil discussion. Its a ring, for those fighting for policy step into and fight to the death for. Debate is a waste of time when the house is on fire.
The Night-time Territory (Nocturnal Primitivism): The World Government was a nightmare regime, using the tools of technology and light to oppress all of man, so these tools need to be dispelled, to merge back to a more natural state of life, for the sake of freedom. Light is oppression, technology is control, so a world of darkness and nature is the only way for man to be free. The light is the enemy, and technology is its weapon of mass destruction.
Morality Purification Zone (Cathartic Nihilism): The Catharsis was supposed to be an instrument to destroy a tyrannical system, but many now believe it is actually the system meant to replace the World Government as it has shown to liberate the people from the World Government. So to end with it all, the Catharsis isn't over yet, as it remains ravaging Finland.
The Northern Settlement/Northern Refuge Organisation (Authoritarian Democracy): A refuge camp for people to flee to, and possibly a gate-way out of Europe. Established by the people of Norway, it seeks to help people leave the Europe as with how everything seems right now, Europe will never be normal again.

The Balkans:
Father's Domain (Parental Despotism): Similar to the west of Europe with MOTHER, Father lays in the former lands of Hungary, acting as a guiding hand amongst the chaos of Catharsis. (This one is a bit of a filler state and one of my least favourite as I couldn't think of anything creative and I didn't just want to copy ideas, will probably def change it if I keep making lore about Europe After Catharsis)
THE YUGOSLAVIA SITUATION: There are four states that occupy what was once Yugoslavia, and the three of them are in a 4 way deadlock. If one attacks the others, the 3rd party will move in. So despite the absolute hatred amongst them, they must be careful as if anything goes wrong? It will be all out war, and all four states are equal in strength.
The Sanctified (Racial Apotheosis): What was once Croatia, is now the Sanctified. They believe the people of the land are the true heirs of Earth and gods chosen amongst all the extremes a Nazi can be. They occupy Slovenia, and have committed some of the worse crimes the International community has seen since the World Government. Ritualistic killings, skinning, fields of trees carrying the rope of its hanging native population, burning of their history and culture, there is simply too many to name.
The Sacred People (Racial Apotheosis): In the former lands of Bosnia, there is the Sacred People. A ideologically identical neighbours, but an absolute Jingoist policy against the 'demonic people' that they call their neighbours. To them, they have no place in this world as they are a force of evil. Especially with the occupation of its peoples former lands.
**The Mandate of Salvation (Racial Apotheosis): '**God is a Serb'. This can only be the case, because horror after horror, the people of Serbia survive and grow stronger! To the North are the demonic forces of the Croatians and Bosnians, and in the south lay the Albanians. All disciples of Satan, claiming the great Serbian land is theirs! Well they are wrong, and they will all be wiped off the face of the earth so they can never threaten Serbia again!
The Heavenly Birthed State (Racial Apotheosis): As Albania collapsed from the Catharsis, its population moved to Kosovo, as Albania shattered from the Hordes malfunctioning and becoming the shells of the Catharsis. So the people take refuge, but no face their enemy... The same one they have been having for a long time... Serbia... The unholy Serbian devil has tormented the Albanian people, committing atrocities few dare to speak. Well no more! The Albanian people will no only gain back its former native land, but it will also conquer its enemies and enact its justice, as it is gods will!

Conclusion of part 1: I haven't gone over all the lore yet, and most of these description are very short for the lore I imagine for them, so if this post does well enough I will make a part 2 and probably also expand on existing lore for my favourite factions.
