Can we call it a copper crown rather than a tin foil hat?

Can we call it a copper crown rather than a tin foil hat?

I realize there's a .0001% chance this will ever be necessary, but it was fun to make with my kids as a physics - electromagnetism and electrostatic equilibrium - lesson. (Obviously, the plastic bin goes inside as a seat for any electronics should an EMP hit the fan.) We tested and it perfectly blocked our FM radio signals which, as I understand it, are the same frequency as an EMP E1 phase (50-100 MHz).

However, 5G still penetrated the fortress' walls.

Can you hear me now?

Feeling Overwhelmed

I have enjoyed reading the posts in this sub, and I just wanted to know if anyone else is feeling overwhelmed by the nature of prepping?

Having grown up on a farm, I had an intro to sustainable livestock, gardening, canning etc. However, at this point, we just have a small garden (we live in a condo and carved out a little space in front), my camping gear (which has water filters, propane stoves, etc.), and as much long term food as I can fit in our 1000 sq ft home (we have 2 teens who eat more than we do, so I really can't fit more than a month back up here), a manual canner and some jars, some self defense items, and two jackery 1000v2s with two 200 watt solar panels.

I still feel utterly unprepared, especially because both my husband and I are on prescription meds that we can't stock up on (I'm also recovering from my 2nd round of chemo after my cancer came back last year.)

If it was just me, I'd be chilling, but with kids it's got me feeling like I want to do more but it never feels like enough. Anyone else feeling this way?
