How is AI in Gallipoli

Havent got the chance to play yet. How is the performance of bots in the game?

Do boy only rounds play out the same as Isonzo where AI try to attack from same direction and attackers almost always lose?

Is it customizable without locking progress?

Operation Watchman probably the worst designed mission not only of this game but any game in history

I know, people make angry posts with hyperboles when they are frustrated in games but i have never seen something of this caliber in my life. This mission easily puts a checkmark on every must-avoid design choice possible

-Takes my capability to stealth kill, you know, thing i do the entire game

-Puts me into a combat with 4 star unidad, in an unpredictable god-awful room to fight.

-Worst of crimes, no checkpoints in entire mission, despite 3 different and increasingly dreadful phases

-If you get to exfil part, you get 3 apaches constantly firing at you, meaning you won't be able to get into a vehicle. Guess what? Exfil is 4 km away.

-After many tries and guides i watched, i barely managed to ditch the apaches, got into a car, two seconds later a patrol saw me and brought 3 stars back, which does not happen in any other moment in game, for some reason it just said "target lost" and boom, game over. Back to the beginning.

-Oh you are frustrated and want to leave? Nope, no way out of this dreadful mission.

There is no way this mission was designed in a way other than to torture player. This mission only make sense if its done with malicious intent.

AI Germany nuked U.S just to make a point.

I had a very long WW2 run with Axis Turkey, Soviets folded quickly but Allies turned into a grueling grind.

Roughly around 1952, U.S nuked Munich, without my aid Germans would collapse.

7 years later, we made it to Americas, after 20 years of attrition U.S barely made any resistance. However, just before I reached their capital, Germans nuked Washington D.C.

U.S already collapsed by then, we had air superiority for a couple years over U.S at that point. Germany still chose to nuke Washington, which really felt like returning the favor rather than a tactical edge.

Seeing AI behave like this was quite interesting.
