Maa Behen Review netflix film inframe: dharna durga/@dharnaaaaa

A one-time watch that falls short of its potential due to a weak script and a rushed ending.

The plot fails to grip the audience or build real tension.

The climax feels hurried, leaving major plot points poorly resolved.

The script wastes the immense talent of its leading actors

Madhuri Dixit: Her character lacks the depth required for a performer of her stature.

Ravi Kishan: His role feels incomplete and needed far more substance to leave a lasting impression.

Tripti Dimri: Her character stands out as a rare highlight, offering genuinely complex and layered depth to the narrative.

Dharna Durga: Highly underutilized. The script fails to lean into her comedic strengths, missing a massive opportunity to inject much-needed humor.

The show is badly scripted

The entire show revolves around Karan and Tejasswi's proposal.

The show is mostly scripted. In the first ten minutes, Karan claims they don't have return tickets. But that makes no sense, since he was flying between Mumbai and Dubai twice a week to shoot Laughter Chefs.(ref there vlogs)

In the very first episode, everyone keeps pointing out that they have been together for four years without an engagement ring. Honestly, it is not that big of a deal. The staging is just too obvious.

But I found the storyline a bit weak, because why would Karan tell someone he just met a few days ago anything about Teja?

And they've portrayed Tejasswi like she does nothing but gossip... plus, she won't share anything with Karan to build a bond.

I noticed one more thing. Karan announced at an event that he was going to propose to Teju, and Binda was also present at that event. However, the next day, when Binda met twin sister and there mother, the twin sister told her that Karan had asked for their help in bringing Teju to that specific location so he could propose to her.

And then she pretends like she isn't happy. I mean, come on, he announced it right in front of you yesterday! And then she says, I will talk to Karan.🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, Tejaswi mentioned in one of interviews that the director took an interest in their lives, it feels like they are trying to recreate the exact same drama that happened in Bigg Boss
